I came to check if anyone has any issues trying out the public beta. I didn't expect the security conversation like which year are we living in? We are still having this debate?

Question: If i use iOS beta 26, can i still use all my payment apps? Any issues at all that I should know of? this will be my first time trying out BETA IOS.

So far reported by tester here, none have issue with the payment app.
Stability wise, HLB advised to use official IOS. Other so far didn't see any feedback unable to use.

Best not to try it out if you heavily depends on phone for any payment.
P/S: you can revert back to official version from beta, which you need to wipe it clean and restore from your backup. Not sure this will need to re-bind the banking app or not which will take 12hours waiting time.

RHB also needs to use ATM to activate. A pain I will go through every year time I change a new iPhone. laugh.gif 11 banks excluding digital banks.

All 3 worked fine since Dev beta.
I've also switched to public beta yesterday and made some DuitNow transactions.
No issues at all.
Apple pay works as usual too.

Ironically apps wise, none of the 3rd party apps that i use daily has any issue.
All the problems i've faced are within Apple's own app, and they are all minor.

PB user here since day one;no issues with any of the apps maybe a slight launch (maybe)
only hit is the battery life which is expected and not a big deal for me; just charge up whenever

I'm using CIMB Octo, MyPB and AmOnline. All 3 have no issue with the current public beta.

Breaking news!
Apple announced that it is collaborating with Samsung to develop a new chip manufacturing innovation technology that has never been used anywhere else in the world.
This technology will be first launched in the United States, with Samsung Electronics' factory in Austin providing chips to optimize the power consumption and performance of Apple products, including the globally available iPhone.
According to industry insiders and speculations, the chip produced in this batch is a CMOS image sensor (CIS).
Samsung is producing and supplying the next-generation CIS to Apple, breaking Sony's 10-year monopoly.

It should be released after the latest iPhone is announced. Last year, it was released two days before iPhone 16 started selling.

Yeah. Looking forward to it too. The iOS 26 will make a lot of old iPhone feel โ€˜newโ€™ again also.
