QUOTE(Avangelice @ Jun 8 2025, 02:52 PM) Don't think tradesmen will be replaced by AI or computers. Who's gonna fix the blocked pipe or extend one's kitchen. I see all my contractors all busy need to prebook them weeks ahead All the goods and services to support human life is redundant when there’s no more pesky human on Earth. Skynet only need minimal power and infrastructure to keep operating. |

I see all my contractors all busy need to prebook them weeks ahead Yes trademen will be least affected initially(didnt saying replaced). But when professional jobs r limited, many would start enrolling in TVET to learn trade cos it is not affected as soon as the rest, then there would be glut. Architect, ID with the help of AI tools and 3D printers will be able to create house designs with DIY fictures thus needing less on trademen. Manufacturers of building material, piping, wiring will improve the products with the help of AI, less repair. Housing developers need to have above features to outsell their products. Already have brick&tile laying & wall painting robots, others will come soon. NUrses should last longer (unless robots become as versatile) cos people live longer This post has been edited by MGM: Jun 8 2025, 03:23 PM |

This is where UBI comes in, but country must be strong, rich, n well managed, MY not qualified. Slowly u only need to work less hours, so more jobs r available. Also inheritance would help. |

QUOTE(brkli @ Jun 8 2025, 01:55 PM) so you mean other field unemployment rate actually dropped or maintain and not increasing?? can list down field, I will need for future reference if want to change field, dun want waste time choosing another field with increasing unemployment rate.. With your level of reading and comprehension skills, employers would rather hire a pigeon compared to you. |

Tomatoes grown in the soil of open-air urban plots had a lower carbon intensity than tomatoes grown in conventional greenhouses, while the emissions difference between conventional and urban agriculture vanished for air-freighted crops like asparagus." |

QUOTE(poooky @ Jun 8 2025, 01:11 PM) Supply is too high. Not just murica. Now competing with whole world. Even India and prcs all study cs. Low hanging fruit code monkey jobs all taken. Left is the ones that need specialized skill. Not easy to get also. Just study alone is no longer enough, need real world experience, but noone wants to hire for it. Catch 22 I heard in CCP, once a programmer reaches 35yo, its end of the road for his or her career.they all macam football player after 35yo early retirement poooky liked this post
