I think at some point I will want to try the Air too but for me battery life is key coz the iPhone is my main driver - and the fact that Apple is pushing a MagSafe battery pack specifically for the Air doesn’t exactly inspire confidence!
I also use an Android for work but I usually go with the one with the biggest battery available coz when I travel for work I turn on the hotspot for my personal phone to feed off it, haha… Currently using an Iqoo Neo 10 with a 7,000mAh battery - waiting for Realme to release their 10,000mAh battery phone - probably next year, hahaha…

For iPhone, the Pro Max is not just for the battery but also for the display… I do sometimes consume some media off my phone when I don’t have my iPad with me and it’s just a bit better to have the extra screen estate on the Pro Max
They will also use a square sensor for their next phones?

Pickpocketing is not a new stuff especially in Europe, it is happening for many years already. My 12PM was pickpocketed in Barcelona at the end of February, and my bag was opened in Athens in 2023, I lost some money. Apple is simply looking for ways to generate more revenue. If they were really concerned about safety, they would have done it a long time ago.

Yes, I did, and I received a substantial amount for the loss of my 12 PM (not sharing the amount though ). I always purchase travel insurance for all my trips, even to Bangkok.

Not sure how durable is the anodized coating for aluminium this round. But so far the coatings used on stainless steel and titanium iPhones previously were quite durable.

The main pro of Apple cases is guaranteed perfect fit for early bird iPhone buyers. Other case makers use dummy mockups based on leaks, so there’s a chance they might be 0.5mm off here and there (majority won’t admit and will silently fix their cases in the next batch after the real iPhones are out). The other benefit of Apple cases is perfectly functioning camera control button feedback.

I’m a fan of Apple’s silicon cases. They last surprisingly long without getting loose and are friendly to most screen protectors. Hopefully these new techwoven ones are just as good.
