Yes. You can get very fine scratches on your camera or your screen from that.

Exactly this, and also will cause unwanted reflections/flares in the image. Just have to be careful not to scratch the original lens cover glass, but since it is made of Sapphire, it is quite scratch-resistant.

Many people show how scratched up their 'lens protector' is, but the reason it is able to be so scratched up is because most are not even made of material like Sapphire.

Yes, touch wood mine so far on 12PM, 15PM and current 16PM, no scratch on the lenses.

I am using the ah beng pouch to put my phone in it. Because of this I am seriously considering the pro max version since the issue with big phones in the pocket is a non issue now plus with lighter aluminum. But I still do not like that gimmick swipe down gestures for effective one hand operation on larger phones. Still prefer the thumb reaching out to the corners.
