I want to change my wall socket from 1 hole > 2 hole.

So when I open up the wall socket. There is 3 colours wire.

The usual black/green/yellow.

But the 2 hole gang socket I bought got 4 holes.

So I confius which cable go which hole.

Is there a cable I need to separate the current? Or there is hole that I could ignore?

Got L and N
Then 2 ground

L for live cable (red, blue, yellow) neutral N is always black, and that terbaik tree symbol is for earth green color

Any risk will deem self harm and injury if not done by competent person.

That means the ground cable, I install on which hole also will do? Just leave 1 empty?

you come to kopitiam ask about wiring, sure people will ask you connect the L to N.

U connect the main ones to one hole then loop it to the second hole.

I just use test pen just now because the colours are all weird

Unless it's a black and white combination

The black is not necessary neutral

Yeah remnants of old time can have black as Live wire also

Today i am going to show you this fine specimen known as B40.

They are characterized by repeated pattern of making choices that is high risk and low reward. Did you take a picture of the old one with the wires still attached?

A lot of Malaysia punya electrician don't follow the colour code one, so be becareful

Risk: Fire/possible death
Benefit: Save money/knowlege

Or even worse, two black wire for L/N and Green for Earth
