Panas konon.

Kereta motor if can park inside shop, Bolehland people would it. Double park right in front of shop is more preferable than park at the proper box 20m away.

Motorbikes pulak can go drive thru pasar malam, naik shoplot walkway.

What I mean is its correlated to climate.
You can see those that walk more are mostly from colder climate and these people tend to shower less also. But it sounds better if we just say they are lazy to shower ay 🤷

if inside parking lot also you're not willing to walk.....we deserve the no.5 spot and the no.1 spot for obesity in asia

if hot and rain is the real reason

you mean your car park ambient temperature is less than 28C most the time? your car park for air condition?

thailand northern climate quite nice for walking.

singapore a lot shaded and air condition connectivity between MRT station and indoors.

we have those shaded walkway too and how many did u saw walking? laugh.gif

u go to bangkok, there is absolutely no such thing as shaded walkway, the only one is at siam and that's all and yet u see people walk everywhere
hot is just an excuse which is why we deserve that no.5 spot

if malaysians aren't even willing to walk in shaded places, we would be holding that no.1 obesity spot for a long time
next year maybe we would move up in this lazy walking rank too

I walk alot but the number of increasing motorbodoh make me rethink.

1) Walk in those shoplot pedestrian walkway, idiot delivery rider speed there and honk you.

2) Walk to LRT in pedestrian walkway, motorbodoh use it as shortcut full speed honk ask you give them way.

At least not as humid as our region. Coastal area event hotter to stay outside. My hometown in Penang Island due to near the sea, it makes the air fell more intense during daytime.

Singapore is also hot, and actually more humid than Klang Valley, but it's at number 9 of the most active walkers list.

Out of necessity I suppose.
Majority have to? use the MRT or bus to get around.

I'm sure there'd be many who would rather drive and walk less but it's not financially feasible.

But anyway, we should walk more. I'm all for that.
Whether, its outside or on a treadmill indoors...

Necessity plus availability of pavements.
My own experience: walking 2000+ steps in KL is more tiring than walking 3000+ steps in Singapore.
