Exactly. Too many cases of people use up all their money after getting EPF and more importantly too many people don't even have the minimum 300k in EPF after retirement

Agree.  The Sporean who retired then withdrew all and spent them on god knows what (including on dragon ladies😂😂😂).  And so a fool and his money was soon separated. 

Hence LKY and team decide enough was enough and Moore the idea of monthly withdrawal to avoid one time withdrawal to spend on unnecessary items.  I am all for it.  Ideally the system shd be set a minimum/max value to be withdrawn monthly and the rest can withdraw.

The issue is not with mid and low-level workers; they can still perform well at that age.

The main problem lies with top-level employees. Many of them misuse their positions and micromanage, similar to the behaviors observed in baby boomers. Extending their tenure by five years would only create inconveniences for everyone involved.

Bosses should resign at 60 years old. They already well fed with all the benefits and higher salaries.

Probably kwsp can introduce a monthly direct debit withdrawal for its member's insurance premiums. Cap to 1 life, 1 critical illness, 1 medical card

Medical card and insurance already currently available in EPF.  U can choose conventional or Islamic ones.

Auto debit from EPF, I think.  U can get all these when u visit the EPF website.

Malaysia also got so many cases of retiree spend all within a few years on buy new cars, renovate house, kenduri kahwin for children, etc. too

You dream la.  EPF where got money anymore.  Remember DAP and PKR said we bancrupt and gomen use up all our EPF monies last time?  Remember how the EPF Building in PJ caught fire and all ah soh and ah peks believed DAP and panicked cos gomen ‘erased all EPF record’…. We already bancrupt how many years edi and EPF is empty la.  Manada EPF anymore… just namesake saja !

You think he won't change retirement age to 65 and change EPF withdrawal conditions

You forget he is the root of everything and he knows the impact if this is not done

Also, if you're rich enough, nobody stopping you from retirement. If you need to spend big after you get your EPF, then it's clear that you will use up all your EPF in a few years time and even more needed to extend your retirement and limit your withdrawal 😜
