I think, there shouldn't be any problem to women taking leave for period pain, after all they are using their annual leave benefits for that. If they are taking MC leaves for period pain, then it's a problem. Otherwise, I see no point in denying them to take annual leave for period pain. Just as men can take annual leave for vacation but end up is just relaxing at home.

For the cooking one, that depends on the future husband. If the guy is okay that his wife no need to cook, that's their business. If the husband to be wants a wife to be that cooks, then, he just need to dump the girl and find a wife that cooks. The world of dating and marriage is a free world. So, if you don't like a wife that don't cook, then simply don't marry one.
