Efforts by the likes of DSAI, Zafrul, Loke, Chin Tong & others to reach out to foreign investors have helped to put Malaysia back on the radar for many Western countries. There is a lot of roadshows and meetings going on beyond what is reported in the mainstream media. Perception of Malaysia has definitely improved in my opinion. This is from my personal experience and direct feedback from international fund managers.

Expansion doesn’t count as it just existing companies expanding their existing business. Only companies new to Malaysia. Nobody is giving credits to PuAS when Rohm Wako put RM900million in Kelantan few years back. It is just an expansion, normal part of the business.

Somehow the things announced during Najib's time (and to a certain degree, Mahathir 2.0's time) came to fruition in PMX's term.
