My company tried before to take legal action over an ex sales staff who jump ship and leak our current price to competitor.

Lawyer advise unless the other side willing to provide evidence that the ex sales staff has physically shown his ex company price list to them, there's no strong case for information leak.

inside my sales line also same thing, everyone exposes competitors pricing to others but its not the end of the world anyway. theres more to pricing as sole reason of winning a deal

A hypocritical also because my company themselves poach competitors staff and ask them what's the market price like on their side.
After a while it's just accepted there's no secret in this world anymore. Play fair and give quality product. If you overprice eventually customer also will find out.

Only the chinaman apek still refuse to accept this reality, shouting NDA, betrayal, lack of loyalty and lawyer and threaten legal action all.

As salary man, of course we have that kind of mindset, business owners will protect their own trade secret ricebowl with their life cos that's all they have.
Don't say chinaman, even the likes of Apple & Samsung also the same for example.

Ok
If u wanna try u have to play by the book
Need to know what agreement she sign before when getting the job

Does it mention about against joining / disclosing to competitor or company of same fields

U can use this clause to find fault in her
Terminate legally and then get lawyer to sue her
Long case to drag

As per title, other than corporate whistle blowing channel, can external legal action be taken?
Recently a client executive employee has been exposing company's contract prices to one of 3rd party employee which she is quite close to resulting dissatisfaction of the 3rd party employee towards his employer, not just that he go and tell other 3rd party employee about the prices.

Manpower supply contract u have an executive on the client side managing the 3rd party employees (contract staff) timesheet, issuance of purchase orders, verifying the supply company monthly invoices. So that exec knows alot.
In this case that exec is good friend with 1 of the contract staff, hence bocoring the p&c info.

no, bro. nowadays everything is open. even profit margins are being shared.
the world is moving to more collaborative trade practices.

you should have standard tier pay packages that is fair for all your contract workers.
if they find out how much the client is paying you, you can tell them that this is the standard rate and if they dont like it, they can move to a different company because you cant change the standard rate.

this kind of thing only becomes and issue if you are actually trying to con someone out of their rightful pay package. if you are being fair, then its easy to resolve.

im in oil & gas and our new contracts are mostly cost plus basis nowadays.
clients know you need to make a profit to be sustainable so they are fine with fair margins.
your contract workers need a broker to find work for them. its a win-win situation for all even if your margins are known.
