My company tried before to take legal action over an ex sales staff who jump ship and leak our current price to competitor. Lawyer advise unless the other side willing to provide evidence that the ex sales staff has physically shown his ex company price list to them, there's no strong case for information leak. QUOTE(Rorschach85 @ May 15 2025, 10:08 AM) A hypocritical also because my company themselves poach competitors staff and ask them what's the market price like on their side. After a while it's just accepted there's no secret in this world anymore. Play fair and give quality product. If you overprice eventually customer also will find out. Only the chinaman apek still refuse to accept this reality, shouting NDA, betrayal, lack of loyalty and lawyer and threaten legal action all. QUOTE(Rorschach85 @ May 15 2025, 07:02 AM) As per title, other than corporate whistle blowing channel, can external legal action be taken? wat the heck is a 3rd party employee?Recently a client executive employee has been exposing company's contract prices to one of 3rd party employee which she is quite close to resulting dissatisfaction of the 3rd party employee towards his employer, not just that he go and tell other 3rd party employee about the prices. wat the heck is a client executive employee? |

QUOTE(homicidal85 @ May 15 2025, 12:07 PM) Manpower supply contract u have an executive on the client side managing the 3rd party employees (contract staff) timesheet, issuance of purchase orders, verifying the supply company monthly invoices. So that exec knows alot. In this case that exec is good friend with 1 of the contract staff, hence bocoring the p&c info. |

QUOTE(Rorschach85 @ May 15 2025, 05:15 PM) Trade secret lor, u openly let the world know your contract rates? U upload on fb? Linkin? im in oil & gas and our new contracts are mostly cost plus basis nowadays. There's a clause on confidentiality in every contract clients know you need to make a profit to be sustainable so they are fine with fair margins. your contract workers need a broker to find work for them. its a win-win situation for all even if your margins are known. |
