Executive leaks p&c info to 3rd party employee

As per title, other than corporate whistle blowing channel, can external legal action be taken? Recently a client executive employee has been exposing company's contract prices to one of 3rd party employee which she is quite close to resulting dissatisfaction of the 3rd party employee towards his employer, not just that he go and tell other 3rd party employee about the prices.

You want this person out, don't care for what
Tell HR to check her background or any conflict of interest or any major offences that you can dismiss her/him
But take note, they also have lawyers to sue you.
Even after some settlement, they still can sue you if your separation letter is not mention some details.
Dismissal must follow my the book if you want to do it correctly.
