QUOTE(MR_alien @ May 13 2025, 05:02 PM) even my own myvi right now i also changed the brake pad to ceramic Also. Once Iām back after driving them, when I first apply brake on my city. I will terkecut pikachu coz applied too much brake. šššit's still not as grippy as my proton saga but it's sufficient enough for me to slow down the car when it's needed |

QUOTE(iSean @ May 13 2025, 03:44 PM) I think I was on some DUKE highway coming back from Kepong. Was nearing Toll Booth to pay for RFID, most likely Axia hit the mini bumper thought lost control and slammed breaks and dejavu Initial D, and drifted and walled. Luckily no upcar dropped down. sekian terima kasih. 70mai 1080p rear camera abit useless. can't see buy car plate. Pretty sure at 0:29 mark, even I slowed down @ 60km/h very significantly, this bumper design seems abit too dangerous. I drove a Bezza and it hit my car real hard. Can't imagine Axia. more lighter than me, hit the curb be like wtf. and slammed breaks coming in. Looks as if the driver didn't even hit the brakes. But it wouldn't matter. It would have made it worst. Front wheel drive cars are front heavy. Seeing that its a decline into a bend, all the weight would have been in front of the car, he would have let go of the accelerate pedal just before realising he was going a little too fast, at that moment, even more weight is shifted to the front, causing the rear wheels to loose traction ( road was also slightly damped )⦠hello oversteer. |

QUOTE(jaycee1 @ May 13 2025, 04:04 PM) ......expansion strips and rumble strips on highway corners is a really stupid implementation. Rumble strips should be before the corner to let the drivers slow down BEFORE the corner. Combination of corner lateral force, instability of the rumble strips and the driver either braking or lifting off in the middle of a corner is asking for disaster. implementing these strips on corners are indeed dangerous, authorities knowing this were prolly left with no choice knowing how motorists behavetake the Duta toll for example, entrance side, long corner downhill curve stretches on for quite a bit until the gates those familiar will slow down otherwise kena macam axia |

QUOTE(ceo684 @ May 13 2025, 05:34 PM) All braking has to be COMPLETED before entering the corner to follow "slow in fast out" pressing the rear tyres down then tarak issue For the layman yes. But it's not entirely correct. Nor quickest way around the corner.... Nor safest. Yes, most of the braking should be done before you get to the corner, but you should not stop braking, instead you should gradually "trail" off braking to the apex. Those with advance training will know to trail brake and hold it later into a corner, and the transition from braking to throttle is very quick. In fact those that actually know how to drive would prefer a slight oversteer condition possible from trail braking (easier to recover if you got skills) rather than understeer. Front tyres do the steering, you need partial and slight braking force to maintain weight transfer at the front wheels for grip for the initial turn in. Not enough weight up front may result in harder to recover understeer. I have to emphasize gradual and partial, too much too late and you can induce oversteer. It's an advanced technique that takes years of track experience to perfect. Like I said before. Proper and correct driving technique can often be unintuitive. For example, if your car starts fishtailing... The correct recovery on a fwd car is off the brakes and on the gas. Completely the opposite of what most people will do, with is more braking. Just my 2c. This post has been edited by jaycee1: May 13 2025, 07:17 PM ceo684 liked this post
