That’s the difference with kuil haram (illegal temples).
Kuil haram squats illegally on other people’s land.
They never make any effort to buy the land legally.
When asked to move out, they refuse and demand compensation.
In some cases, even when compensation is given, they still refuse to leave — even though they already have money and another piece of land.
There are also cases where the landowner wants to sell the land, but they still refuse to buy it — they insist on getting everything for free.
