I have old water dispenser that works fine but after le wife visited a relative new house suddenly wants finer things with it like digital touch & volume control
Prefer outright purchase and to buy OEM filter on my own (I'm a DIY person) rather than being lock to 7 freaking long years payment
Our body is not that weak so not fancying those 3 or 4 stage filtration gimmick
I researched many big players have gang up to only sell the high end models in monthly subscription format
shopee belambak. state what function you want to chatgpt.
suggest a water dispenser that has the following criteria: 3 stage purification, hot water, room temperature water and chilled water, and able to control the dispensed water volume, and it must not be subscription based

Those subscription thingy, you can also just purchase the water filter with full payment and without subscription also.. Subscription is just for people who lazy to service the filter themselves, and to those who want to pay in installment..
u can check for price for outright (eg: LG or SK magic)
but subsequent filter replacement either opt for their service package or u replace your own
if u really pure DIY and know what u doing ..just buy from shopee (eg: MIDEA or any local brand) ; then buy ori or third party filter and replace yourself
sample

You can always pay in cash. It's cheaper than subscription.
U may want to check with LG Puricare sales person, there is one in LYN u may drop him a PM, just search LG Puricare thread from google you'll get there.
Pass by the bacfeee store in subang all the time since I was a kid, never heard of people using it before cuckoo / coway / kangen days

Filter must buy bacfree brand or any brand will do?
water purifier or filter still need to change filter la. no purifier purifying forever. still need to change the purifyer/filter you still need to subscribe to your own self doing the maintenance
You can pay one off if you don't want to subscribe
and then you still have to call them to do maintenance (and pay) unless you do it yourself now unless you're also their agent that know how to do it i dont recommend paying one off

I use h20 hydrogen. It’s simple purifier. Open tap and you get purified water
The replacement cartridge has 3 with varying level of replacement interval and not cheap
But it pass my alkaline test flying colors and has a ceramic filter that I can wash along with some other filter
I don’t need hot water cold water shit because I got a good thermos for hot water instead of let this shit plug into my electric socket and suck my electrify. I have adhd which I need to ensure all plug in house is off except fridge
Wondered why some people are so cheapskate with their life? Putting food and drink into your body also kira so much.......ayoyo....
Any subscription based payment you are just making the company richer...like how banks earn from your mortgage, loans. There is always a better way to extract the same value
Im using elken more than 15 years, no subscription About 3-4 cartridge and change every 15-18 months But it doesn't have fancy digital stuff, i prefer less electronic so that have lesser possibility of breakfown

Good health ain't cheap ....you agreed on this? Why penny wise pound foolish .... When you reach middle age you will realise money earn is to be used, don't be a miser .....my 2 cents

I'm surrounded by family and friends that is full of doctors, pharmacist, nurses...never seen their house install any fancy water purifier pun. Also like I reply in my post above...oversea people drink from tap directly...all doing fine Don't falsely believe into what marketer/sellers tell you If you read my post again, I'm not saying I'm skimping on water filter, just not keen on paying for unnecessary $$ and filtration gimmick

Once you aged, you will realise what you are is what you eat/drink for the past decades. No wrong or right ....
