Use Doulton candle stick ceramic filter with double housing. One clear one shikded for activated carbon filter.

The cermaic fikter can be scrub oncs the surfave gets dirty or flowrate slowed.

Visit water filter sub-forum, pretty sure there is alot of useful recommendations there

But if you want just a blatant suggestion

Here you go - One off purchase, no tie downs, straight forward as requested

Thanks. Didn't know such niche sub-forum exist in Lowyat

I have old water dispenser that works fine but after le wife visited a relative new house suddenly wants finer things with it like digital touch & volume control

Prefer outright purchase and to buy OEM filter on my own (I'm a DIY person) rather than being lock to 7 freaking long years payment

Our body is not that weak so not fancying those 3 or 4 stage filtration gimmick

I researched many big players have gang up to only sell the high end models in monthly subscription format

either mr.diy simple version or search carousell for used unit

thn shopee that model if parts sold or not online

thn can proceed from there

I'm using this too. But the cartridge is very expensive. Rm250 for 6 months before the water flow runs slow

Search Shopee or Lazada for Doulton ceramic filter. Low cost in the long run.

You can always pay in cash.
It's cheaper than subscription.

Yes every 6-8months I change. Usually buy during 11-11 sale. Over the last years i noticed the price of each cartridge went up by about 30%

Might switch to LG soon, subscription based but they mail you the cartridge so tukar sendiri at home.
