I have old water dispenser that works fine but after le wife visited a relative new house suddenly wants finer things with it like digital touch & volume control
Prefer outright purchase and to buy OEM filter on my own (I'm a DIY person) rather than being lock to 7 freaking long years payment
Our body is not that weak so not fancying those 3 or 4 stage filtration gimmick
I researched many big players have gang up to only sell the high end models in monthly subscription format

shopee belambak. state what function you want to chatgpt.
suggest a water dispenser that has the following criteria: 3 stage purification, hot water, room temperature water and chilled water, and able to control the dispensed water volume, and it must not be subscription based

Those subscription thingy, you can also just purchase the water filter with full payment and without subscription also.. Subscription is just for people who lazy to service the filter themselves, and to those who want to pay in installment..

You just need 3 stages that you can buy very cheap from shopee.
1. Sediment filter= remove suspended solid and rust 2. Activated carbon filter= remove chlorine and chlorine Taste. 3. UF filter= 99.9% remove bacteria.
The rest is optional. If you want higher removal, that can remove till mineral, virus and heavy metal content, u need to use RO filter.

u can check for price for outright (eg: LG or SK magic) but subsequent filter replacement either opt for their service package or u replace your own if u really pure DIY and know what u doing ..just buy from shopee (eg: MIDEA or any local brand) ; then buy ori or third party filter and replace yourself sample This post has been edited by fantasy1989: May 1 2025, 02:17 PM
