just buy something with fast va, if the monitor use it, marketing material will definitely highlight. that philips model will be better choice because of 5 years warranty.

why fast va  because that panel response time is 2 times faster than conventional va panel. can go as low as 0.5ms with overdrive, benq even have model with 0.3ms response time(not native of course). native is probably around 2ms average g2g. even my benq ex3210r with coventional 5ms response time VA panel already handle dark smearing well.

problem is manufacturer dont tell the native average figure because people will think the figure is bad.

lol no, but at least it much closer to the conventional IPS panel, not fast IPS panel of course. but hey on the bright side, VA contrast ratio are much better, even the slower and much expensive IPS black panel cant match it yet.

Seems like Samsung warranty is the best. Remember once I claimed warranty for a 20inch after using for 33months and Samsung gave me back the purchase price as they claimed parts more expensive than monitor.

For VA I suggest you look at it in store to see if you like or dislike it. I find VA displays doesn't look good like colour a bit weird, of course better than TN but it's visually inferior to a good IPS. Plus modern IPS is really fast now and goods ones don't really have ghosting issues (my 240hz ones very close to zero ghosting when taken with 240fps slomo video). Most budget curved ultrawide is using VA and IPS is not that many so dunno lor.

For me I stick with 27" 2560x1440 monitor, a year and half ago it's only rm1940 for 240Hz fast IPS monitor. Nowadays these specs at rm1500-1600 is common.

For adaptive sync, look for gsync compatible word I guess. Modern monitor with variable refresh rate should have it liao now, even my temporary rm359 24" msi 120hz IPS monitor is gsync compatible.

Budget low dont wanna spend much so budget ultrawide come with VA mostly.. no choice budget low cannot complain much

27 1440p to me perfect if don't wanna go ultrawide, I'm using another 32 1440p side by side with ultrawide it's a little too big but nice if sit further away watching movie. But for gaming uktrawude still more syiok. But some games even now not implemented properly especially those ported from console but most game run fine and it's amazing. Also with ultrawide can see more, I play world of tanks, warship and war thunder is very immersive.

Using Nvidia card find a monitor with gsync compatible it's good but don't have adaptive also will work just budget monitor don't expect good implementation. Now oled this oled that, nice if can spend that much.
