BMW IX2 last year launch for RM297k, now i see got people mau sell at RM190k, depreciation rate 36% over a year

Not sure whether I understand the charts wrongly.
If we assume an EV travels 15k km per year, when we look at 1st chart (Figure 6), a car that travels 90k km retains about 35% of new car value, ie lose 65% of value. But if we look at the last chart (Figure 9), a 6 years old EV (year 2018) only lose 36.6% of car value? Or I understand the Figure 9 chart wrongly? |

I dont know why all buy car talk resale value, if want resale value only buy perodua and nothing else.
My x-trail buy that time 129k, 9 yrs later 160k km only sell back 25k. This considered good re sell value? |

And you can still use that car for another ten years. Ev One year lose 30k. And can it make it to 9 years without battery change?
