Soon local ppl will complaint, just like what happening to Oz, UK and US.
Poor fxck local B40 will complaint why so many students come, resulted in higher rental, food, service especially around the universities area. Ppl are stupid. Just like what happen to those tourist hotspots. This post has been edited by 70U63: Apr 28 2025, 02:13 PM |

They so bad until stole all the books from this library issit? read also don't know But readers expecting to pluck tomes from most of the terraced shelves in the grand foyer are in for a rude awakening as most of the library's 200,000 books are in other rooms shelved in more conventional library bookshelves. |

QUOTE(desmond2020 @ Apr 28 2025, 02:20 PM) lol bharatian Is this the same library in 2019?read also don't know But readers expecting to pluck tomes from most of the terraced shelves in the grand foyer are in for a rude awakening as most of the library's 200,000 books are in other rooms shelved in more conventional library bookshelves. https://katherineluck.medium.com/why-china-...ks-5541ac1194cf Filled with either low quality thin books (all in Mandarin) or fake books. Really fake books. Reminds me of the Chinese bookshop chains in Malaysia. There is hardly any nice book there. I only rarely go in to buy stationary, that's it. QUOTE(30624770 @ Apr 28 2025, 02:08 PM) You tell me, which China officials/presidents send their kids overseas to study? Bo Xilai's son, Jiang Zemin and Zhao Ziyang's grandkids. Do you really believed that XJP the only official that send their kids to study overseas? Don't pretend you don't know what he meant. LOL! Now, let not talk about your beloved leaders. Let's talk about the common people. Since you are so knowledgeable regarding China, please do tell. Does the gov know about the issue of not enough seats at their education institutions? Do they plan to build more to accommodate the population? As you mentioned earlier that it's hard to hire teachers or lecturers, does the gov have any initiatives like better salary or benefits to attract them. Might risked a brain drain here if other countries give them better offers Not all that can afford to send their kids to study overseas, What's the solutions for the poor that can't enter local U and can't afford to go overseas? |
