QUOTE(*devilelle* @ Apr 2 2008, 04:14 PM) Yes ofcourse her tickets are sold out in Maccau when I was there, and the min pricing was 1k. O_oSome of my friends say that listening to celine dion is ghey, and they listen to heavy metal. I wonder if music decide people's sexual prefrence. I do not care about them as I like and do what I want and see fit. |

QUOTE(feyhime @ Apr 2 2008, 04:17 PM) Ahahaha not that I don't want to tell but then even if I do tell, I doubt I can properly convey what they meant. But most of those I know mentioned that it isn't something they can control. It happens and they go through a lot to be really sure of what they like and they are happy with it. Yeah thats what I herd from alot of those people its not something that they want, I wonder if that goes for straight people choosing partners too. Ahh well really have to go. |

QUOTE(feyhime @ Apr 2 2008, 04:40 PM) Does that mean you are a plu too I guess then, but then Im the kind of person who likes. Bach Beethoven Mozart Shubert too does that mean that Im an old person since Im 16?I rarely listen to songs anymore, mostly opting for OSTs and orchestra pieces instead. I started to enjoy those kinda of music when my parents esp my mom started playing with Audio, but now she stopped, and that lead me to have and addiction towards orchestra performances. I like to play wei qi too so I guess that even makes even older? QUOTE(feyhime @ Apr 2 2008, 04:51 PM) Hahaha I don't find majority of songs pleasing hence me not listening much. I like my music without human voice contamination Do you like opera then?I do enjoy Mandrine/Cantonese opera as it has so much to do with Chinese history, as I love Chinese history. Just finished watching the Empress in the cinema and I should say Im quite disspointed in it as its emphasis is mostly about brutality and ahem Makes me not to watch any chinese traditional costume movies for a long long time, I feel its just a movie fashion show. People in those days do not wear like that. |

QUOTE(feyhime @ Apr 2 2008, 09:52 PM) Ohhh you can play WeiQi!!!? TEACH ME!!! I've been looking for people to teach me!! I do play wei qi but Im bad at it as I do not have the discipline and the stamina to continue learning this game. I feel I've learned alot from playing this game esp in life where you have to balance things out and look at the big picture of life.No I don't like opera XD I have a huge grudge on opera especially Chinese Opera. My old house area, whenever there's any celebration on the lunar calendar, those opera singer will sing loudly until the entire neighborhood can hear well into midnight, disturbing my sleeps for YEARS! Aww come on don't be shy MPO is nice XD But PLAY! and Eminence is much better XD Thats cause you have not been to those professional Chinese opera theater or performances, those performing for celebration are 4th 5th rate performers. Im not goin to admit what Im not. nice but play??? I do not get it Where is Eminence? |

QUOTE(Yukirin @ Apr 3 2008, 12:22 PM) Ahh~~ Finally can have a stretch after a darn long work. I guess Chinese opera is like drinking mao tai its an acquired taste which not many enjoy, you have to know the background of the play b4 you start to enjoy it and that means chinese history.I sure missed out a lot of thing here and I'm sure surprise that Goldy love this kinda things beside all those thing that he has being Apart from that I'm have no hate nor love for this but I do watch Stomp before and I sure love their creativity in creating their music. As far as for Chinese opera, I can't seems to bring myself to watch one as I can't bare with the *ching ching chang chang* sound while they are performing >.< edit:typo |

QUOTE(Yukirin @ Apr 3 2008, 01:31 PM) Piff~~~ someone taking leaves I could never get malaysian history into my head either, but I have a special intrest in chinese history as there are so many reforms, ideology, political power and international trade involved with china not to mention the technological and strategy warfare development that China have undergone for the past 5 thousand years.Well, I not sure about that but as long as anything to do with history, my database (brain) will goes "history" if i were to study that much. I still remember in my SPM my history = self-imagine "history" but manage to get a darn pass for it. I guess if you are interested in something it gets into your head much easier. QUOTE(Yukirin @ Apr 3 2008, 01:58 PM) Easier to said than done. My boss ain't hiring much ppl. Reason because he wants the company employee to be like Australian company employee. 1 office 4 workers only yet they all work professionally. Talk about being self-productive =.=. I learn new thing everyday but to coup up the standard as what he expected in the shortest time without spending sending the employee for a proper training....you go imagine how a new fresh graduate like me can advance fast leh? Furthermore, ask us to invest more into club such a Rotary lo to build up our PR. I was thinking, who the hell who pay my rest of my commitment if i were to invest on those club such as Rotary, Sarawak Club etc. Sometimes, I just don't get him. Where is your boss from, he seems more like a China man kind of boss than an Aussie guy where he would squeeze every drop of life essence out of his employees. The reason why australia is having minimum work force and try to have maximum out put is because of its high cost in employing a larger work force and not to mention the cost it takes to fire any employee. However I do not see this is the case in Malaysia, tell that to your boss and see what he thinks.Ahh~~Sorry for ranting a bit. Goldy...its good to do something that are different from what you work as long as you have time. Like fey said, you siggy tell different story about you until you actually talk about it here edit: add some stuff, typo PR?? Does he plan to involve you all into sales too? I guess art and science can not be separated one good example is apple I feel that they are more into selling a piece of art than the technology itself. Edited, for something that I just thought about. This post has been edited by fujkenasai: Apr 3 2008, 03:30 PM |
