inheritance tax, maintenance(all the fees you have to pay), if you don't wanna keep the house as it is, u also need to pay someone to throw it away

Japanese gov also damn fucking stupid to set such a high inheritance tax. I understand they wanna tax the rich but u can always set a limit like above 2m property baru kena tax

Very short sighted. Now it become the gov problem to solve these abandoned houses.

Another thing is trash, no wonder japan is so clean, everyone keep trash inside their house kek

No moneyyyyy japan younger gen very very poor. They can't even afford to get married. Houses too expensive the property price kena play too much.

U see Japan now is u can see China in future. Last time Japan is exactly like what China now is.

there are a lot of free houses in japan waiting for people to take over them
this applies to locals or foreigners...basically anyone

Property in Japan not valuable because of declining population.

And alot of these properties are in rural areas where the population decline is most serious.

Believe it or not, even if the inheritance tax were completely zero, many people still won't want these houses because it's just no value to alot of these houses.

The biggest issue is these houses are located in bum fuck nowhere.

Try la if the house were in nice neighborhood in Tokyo, Osaka etc. Those houses confirm will be taken.
