U-NII-B5 as for LPI max EIRP 200mW @ 320Mhz. As in MCMC regulations & for SIRIM compliance. U-NII-B6/7/8 reserved for future use. So linux kernel follow regulations.

QUOTE(Anime4000 @ Jun 23 2025, 10:14 PM) hsbb kwss tng55 touch n go I wondering why some of my client say FTTR is a scam? and some people want to sue ISP for misleading Internet Plan? Customers should define clearly from what aspects why they say a scam. I think because if FTTR look like this, more cheap to buy 2 units of 2.5G media converter or customize length of patch cord. I once used to FTTR my 800Mbps unifi for wired mesh using 2 media converters for full GBe speed compared to unstable speed of wireless. Easy to say FTTR is just an internal wiring. If customers imagine FTTR is 1 home 1 FDC or FDP box, it's totally never like that. |

QUOTE(kiritoffx @ Jun 24 2025, 08:48 AM) hello, i just got upgrade to SWU 500mbs two days ago and i need help Is that mean ur router problem if 2 different phones can hit 500Mbps? What was other devices speed before 2 days ago?all my home devices are wifi based but after all the speedtest done on all the device, the speed i got is average 150mbs except for my poco f3 and f5 can get 500mbs My PCs for example are PCIe wifi 6ax but still only get 300mbs even at the same distance as the phone So, i wonder if there are any setting in unifi skyworth modem router should i change to improve the performance. i cant even find DNS settings i do want to change the router but as last resort as i see on shopee they are all quite expensive. please do suggest which retail budget/best router suitable for 500mbs |

QUOTE(MGM @ Jun 30 2025, 09:55 AM) Just visited tmpoint, insisted on transfer-id to allow swu 5. Still valuable. Just think u pay RM90 also for 500Mbps & RM19 extra for ultimate pack tv. Win win situation. My plan is 500mbps(rm49)+Ultimate(60)+std20(20), this time they allowed me to cancel std20 but not the Unifi TV with old contract, so now paying RM109. |

QUOTE(darkcurves @ Jun 30 2025, 10:11 PM) Has anyone heard of "Unifi Home 500Mbps Premium Value 6.0 (FreeDevice)(36M) RM149" plan? Someone called me and offered me this if Im willing to move from Maxis Fibre. Is this legit, I feel a little worried now because provided my IC and Maxis Fibre bill. The technician suppose to come today but nothing, tried to contact the person again but no answer but this was already after working hours. Have I been scammed? https://unifi.com.my/devicefiesta![]() ![]() |

U guys should make sure to get 500Mbps@RM90 as priority (24Mth contract). That tv SHARP 55" 4TC55FJ1X cost ±RM1500 at shopee. So no extra 1year contract, yet whatever unifi tv bundle promo 36mth, the tv warranty only 24mth. Except u get bundle promo (24mth contract) 500Mbps + SHARP 55" 4TC55FJ1X for RM149, then more worth compare to RM149 36mth contract. AllInthusiast, tng55, and 2 others liked this post

QUOTE(advgamer @ Jul 1 2025, 10:49 AM) I take 500M plan Unifi give me D link DIR-X1860Z, i buy another unit DIR-X1860Z at low cost to setup mesh. tng55,Double story house, each level place one router. Wireless mesh are totally suck! Only main router can run full speed 500M, upper floor wireless mess router speed fall to ~100-200M & quite unstable... I get a cat7 cable do wired mesh, than both router can run max speed. D link wireless dual band mesh system are very weak, only suggest wired mesh. When I mentioned about wired vs wireless pros/cons in my previous post, it's about physics by general. Not about fiber broadband better than wireless broadband. But backhaul ODU dishs on top of towers will lost signal because of storm if not aligned correctly & make mobile phone/simcard router no signal. Why? The tower swing, can't see but can feel when on top. For wired thing, it called cable cut. |

QUOTE(kkm @ Jul 1 2025, 04:36 PM) Ok, in the midst of everybody getting the SWU5.0 package, I just realised that it comes without UnifiTV, not even the free channels. U don't unifi broadband in case for unifitv free channel. Only download unifitv app & register. U get free channels & if someone give u unifitv box or buy it at shopee/lazada, config it with registered id/passwd before. Is there any way I can still watch that? |

QUOTE(garbanicus @ Jul 2 2025, 07:50 PM) Guys why are most ppl saying to set up Skyworth GN630V to bridge mode and use with own router? Ur setup & IF, that ONU-ALCATEL-LUCENT-I240G itself is in bridge mode. So put ur own router after ONU-ALCATEL-LUCENT-I240G replacing Skyworth GN630V. U can use GN630V as wired/wireless mesh client then.My setup now: ONU-ALCATEL-LUCENT-I240G ⟶ Skyworth GN630V ⟶ Devices If set up Skyworth GN630V to bridge mode and use with own router, then it'd be: ONU-ALCATEL-LUCENT-I240G ⟶ Skyworth GN630V (bridge mode) ⟶ Own Router ⟶ Devices Wouldn't that be an extra device? Or should I just remove the Skyworth GN630V altogether. This post has been edited by hsbb: Jul 2 2025, 08:30 PM garbanicus liked this post
