i recall the flood gates only installed after flood in 90's.
after that it was okay until recently.
iinm TSM location is like marsh lands and lower than the PKNS developed areas.
that is why it is suseptible.
but why the current flood gates not helping? coz from what i can see the river looks very full even on normal days so the load is already high.
i am suspecting developers for projects up stream just pass the buck down river.
the river surrounds TSM in C shape, loaded river and lower land level seems like a disaster waiting to happen.
