Another BMW arrived, the X5 4.8i with Dynamic Sports Package. Still trying to improve on my photography skills sad.gif. Might get another unit and convert it to the X5 M-Sport Package. biggrin.gif

aurion: is the X5 from Bburago? nice try on the outdoor shots there...

myke: oh yea... the gulf DBR9 is a very rare model n very high valuable since it won this year's le mans GT class... but i don think we can get it in malaysia here... i know one singaporean forumer owns this... superb package box with cert included... thumbup.gif

REALCollector: greatness Super GT models... are they from Ebbro? last time i spotted a lot in Sepang... hehe i would prefer 1/18 scale de though they are sealed body model... but the choice for 1/18 scale is so limited... all we can rely is on Autoart... sad.gif

I'm planning to splash some cash next year for the 2009 superGT event at Sepang (should be early June for Malaysian SuperGT rite).

It sure is from Bburago. Took the shots early yeasterday morning before heading to the office. Background's over exposed due to improper aperture settings sad.gif. Will get another one ot the same X5 to customise it a bit tongue.gif . Thinking between a silver or the same blue.

Thanks for the comments guys. Engine detail and interior detail is satisfactory, perhaps can be detailed a wee bit more. As for the build quality, overall satisfactory with the exception of the rear tail lights the silver strip is not painted straight on the right tail light. Tailgate door (boot) does not stay fully open. Will come back down quarter to half way after pushing it open to the max it can go. Well. Got to save up for the KY X5 4.8i also.

guys what do you think about this car, nice or what? at least something different from our 'normal' diecasts.

myke: i agree with jasonist, that gulf dbr9 is a rare item and it's a winner too, adds to it's value. another nice one is the red bull db9r. last time i wanted to get the old green one, but now seeing how much better looking the red bull one is, i've changed my mind..

aurion: do burago sell conversion body kits? that's good if you like to personalise your car..like hot works lah..

realcollector: nice super gt...i'm thinking next year, go to the race, get my diecasts signed by the racers...and f1 too..thinking of getting the limited hamilton mp4-21 minichamps...damn nicethis one.... drool.gif sure value up punyer...

Yeah! I'm planning to attend Sepang SuperGT in 2009, just have to confirm the race date early. Actually my dream is to attend the following race at least once in my life time...

1. DTM - Hockenheim circuit (been to Germany early this year, like the circuit so much... host lots of race there.... F1, WTCC, DTM and etc...very
tight corner...... difficult to race - hard to overtake).

2. Australia V8 Super Car - Albert Park (missed it when study in RMIT)
3. F1 - Monza Italy
4. Lemans 24 Hrs - France
5. SuperGT - Suzuka Japan

Anyway it's just a dream.... I think it's lot meaningful if you collector can pick up the models that you like and get the driver signature.... woo... dream come true rclxm9.gif

like the Audi A4 DTM so much. Minichamp has it, but expensive.. anybody who is collecting DTM model? Pls share...

juzz4carz: the mustang looks kinda scary with those shape running out... btw, if diecast really possible on this, i think the maker will have a headache making them... tongue.gif

btw, my final purchase from KL... the Dodge Viper SRT-10 from Autoart... i was originally waiting for the coupe version, but after the pictar released, im disappointed with the double stripes they included with the car... i would prefer plain body Viper, so i picked the convertible version le, after all its quite reasonable priced for an autoart...
