QUOTE(Feliex @ Sep 16 2025, 09:20 PM) I think by naked eye is very hard to differentiate 1.5k vs 2k screen resolution. Refresh rate increased significantly. Again, I'm not sure if naked eye can differentiate. Feliex liked this post

Again, I'm not sure if naked eye can differentiate. Unless you have super sensitive eyes. If not normal beings like us wont be able to tell on such a small screen. Refresh rate is definitely standard 120hz now. Any slower you will definitely be able to tell the difference. |

I just got my CN set op13, I was initially gonna settle on colorOS, however the seller went ahead and flashed OxygenOS with version PJZ110_15.0.0.801(CN01).
Is there any guide on how to update the flashed software before I fully transfer my old data over? I also noticed some ai tools (remover) not working in the photo app, anyone faced this problem before? |

Oh I see, honestly I might not really use the ai tools that much as there are other editing apps for that anyway, my only concern is the software updating as I've heard it needs to be done manually and will wipe the phone each time? And if there's no stable version like you said, maybe it's wiser to keep it at the current version which seems ok so far |

A lot of bugs as well. But your 801 version is very dated to be honest. Latest version is 860. Each month update I can see a lot of new things being added which to a certain extend is useful. |

I thought as time goes by, this issue could be easily resolved. |

I heard one plus is pretty firm this round as outside china dealer is making noise that consumer is importing cn set directly and flash it to oxygen os. This makes local dealer harder to survive. Hence no stable oxygen firmware ready to be flashed. |

But somehow this has not happened yet. Oh well. |

I don't wanna be missing out on any new features |

I was also thinking to flash to oxygen but yea, I started fall in love with color os. I would say it is very close to global os if not better. |

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Sep 27 2025, 07:37 AM) 165hz only active for gaming , for daily usage they will stay on LTPO 1hz - 120hz , and the 165hz already started to support alot of fps china games , so it not really a gimmick now.If u are into FPS gaming 165hz is just HUGE HUGE HUGE improvement over 120fps. U can see the diff between 165 vs 120 on this video. This post has been edited by chongkiatz: Sep 27 2025, 08:01 AM |
