I'm looking for a phone to replace my s21 with budget around 3k. was looking at the s25 for around that price. now i'm considering op13 china rom as the specs seem better. I'm visiting china sometime this year, is it a good idea for me to buy straight from there? is there a lot of things to setup when I bring it back here?

Oh im not really looking for a foldable, though if its really that cheap rm3k then maybe can consider.

Has anyone experienced buying directly from china? Just wanna know if it can be used normally with our sim straight out of the box or is it required to do some tweaking for our optimal use?

I just got my CN set op13, I was initially gonna settle on colorOS, however the seller went ahead and flashed OxygenOS with version PJZ110_15.0.0.801(CN01).

Is there any guide on how to update the flashed software before I fully transfer my old data over?

I also noticed some ai tools (remover) not working in the photo app, anyone faced this problem before?

Bought from a seller in lazmall, I also expected it to just be colorOS. Oh I see, honestly I might not really use the ai tools that much as there are other editing apps for that anyway, my only concern is the software updating as I've heard it needs to be done manually and will wipe the phone each time? And if there's no stable version like you said, maybe it's wiser to keep it at the current version which seems ok so far

I guess I'll try to flash it to colorOS if that's the case, just gotta find a guide. I don't wanna be missing out on any new features
