Most condos will also crash becos they do not certify for earthquakes or even have insurance. Better buy yr own insurance and add natural perils. Byk development save money and dun take extra precautions. Go google how buildings in Japan or Taiwan 101, KLCC have dampers to prevent this. Even <20 floors is at risk. Stay safe!

Hi guys, I was just going through ChatGPT to find some cases in Malaysia that led to fatalities. The Highland Towers collapse and the Menara Umno fin wall collapse are the only two cases where the engineers involved had their qualifications revoked. However, there is no publicly available information indicating that these individuals faced criminal imprisonment.
Is Malaysia really this lenient on such issues? If so, it's no wonder so many engineers can easily sign off drawings.

QUOTE(iGamer @ Mar 29 2025, 11:00 AM) Perception wise maybe, but most high rise has stronger foundation and stricter requirements than low rise landed prop. So don’t be too confident low rise landed is safer, it could be the opposite. I once ask this construction consultant about how safe is tall building here. What he tell will make you won’t buy 1. Developer engage consultant when their construction facing problem like this. And there is a lot.

QUOTE(iGamer @ Mar 29 2025, 11:08 AM) Widely reported, yes. But TS make accusation that it will most likely to collapse if earthquake…that’s bold accusation that may have legal liability. Lets wait for TS independent report assessment
