Most condos will also crash becos they do not certify for earthquakes or even have insurance. Better buy yr own insurance and add natural perils. Byk development save money and dun take extra precautions. Go google how buildings in Japan or Taiwan 101, KLCC have dampers to prevent this. Even <20 floors is at risk. Stay safe!

Which high rise you refering that without insurance on earthquake?

I think assumption that when earthquake/tremor in Msia, only high rise affected, need to think again … change of land structure will cause landslide and flood which will cover landed properties as well …

I think condo may not collapsed, so far only china tofu engineering in BKK facing this … but instead may have structural damage like crack on major foundation which probably need alot of money for repair … condo swaying may not be bad thing as it is countering the impact, if the condo stays still but damage the foundation even scarier … like Petronas twin towers design, is deliberately let it sway in case of quale with the bridge as counter balance

Quite right. There was a documentary by RTM dulu abt this as mamakthir wanted to heboh abt his baby to the world wif supposedly best engineering (by S.Korea) in the world. However have not seen any cerita heboh by TRX or Warisan Tower. Anyway I was referring to newer condos esp by a shit developer in Cheras building 30-40 floors but really with bad reputation for poor finishing. Dun want to get LOD to mention the name but many ppl kena by them after buying their properties and get challenged to goto court.

Still dunno yet how the tower in Bkk can collapse so easily like using sand and less cement wif no steel bars?
