Get the highest floor that you can afford, and are willing/able to walk up and down when the elevators can't be used.

Speaking for myself, i'd avoid any building that's next to an expressway.

Beggars can't be choosers. Too poor to get a resale, which are valued around 1m .. for a new unit you can get as cheap as 550k. The drawback is next to an expressway.

Haha yes. I'm not based in msia. Can't afford to buy private only public housing. But, it's a new unit that will be ready by 2029 but need to start deciding by next month.

i used to see this way also, but to be precise u have to see ur unit/condo direction. my condo dont really face sun rise, so I have no issue with heat. As i read more post, i also dont really face "waiting longer for lift". My lift is pretty fast, that may not be applicable to old condos. I think modern lift is pretty fast by today standard la.

additionally, i get no mosquitos, house fly, gecko, lipas or weird insects. Higher unit usually eliminated all these. Smaller insects are inevitable coz they live everywhere.

Higher floors, less pest, less noisy- imagine u stay 7th floor and swimming pool is 5th floor, children screaming their lungs out playing until 11pm.

Ur parking will be at the lower floor the higher u go also.

At night, no need aircond, wind blows continuously.. even if on also can set higher temp. U saved electricity bill a lot. Buy unit facing east, so u only get morning sun...

try not to stay at the highest floor, water leakage problem might haunt u, if max level 40 then try to stay at level 39.

Another thing u need to consider, developer will tend to allocate lower level car park to higher floor level owner, let say u stay at level 38-40, higher chances developer will allocate car park at level 1/2, no need to turn so many times and waste time in the car park.

If you buy a property, the lower the floor, the higher level your assigned car park

When I worked in property management office, those that live at level 7 need to park their car at level 5..

The journey going up to level 5 is really exhausting. Banyak bazir minyak mendaki naik

oh ya... have to see also how the parking lot for the condo being built

if those parking lot that you need to go up floor 1 by 1 one, not good

but if parking lot can go straight to 2nd/3rd/4th floor from ground = one slop that connects all parking lot floors = better

like the AEON at Bukit Tinggi, can go straight to 3rd floor
