Hi guys,

Those staying in high rise, I'll need some inputs from you guys. Would it better to go for high floor or low floor? Unit will have 40 floors in total.

Besides, another concern of mine is, the unit is literally beside of an expressway, hence would be dusty and noisy for higher unit. For lower unit there will be more units to temper both but drawback is pest issue.

The higher the floor , the noiser it gets if it is beside a high way. Have to consider noise damping when renovationg.
Air is fresger in upper floors but in case of blackout, be prepared to climb down 40 floors

This unit facing expresway, wouldn't it noisy from the traffic?

High floor - no blocking of view. But this is not relevant to this property. Noise tends to travel upward. Higher floor could be impacted. Not sure how far is the distance from the expresway.

I recalled read somewhere, those mid floor have water pump. Not sure new condo nowadays have this water pump location issue.

Well, it is literally next to it. So, could be dusty too especially when the wind blows in.

Likely not aiming that high. Thinking about 20+ else around 10+ for lower floor.

Ok thanks. Not too concerned about the view. More like the quality of life, in term of noise and dust. Just next to it, maybe less than 30m?

personally ill go for low floor.

makes travelling up and down much faster.

imagine live 40th floor. everyday.... hectic time, lift door opens every 2 floor = open 10 times... by the time you get to your car, 15 minutes has passed.

It will be very noisy especially at night.

If this ready unit? maybe can request sales person to bring in to check out the condition at night.

Thinking for low floor too but not too low. Wifey wants higher floor. So now weighing the pro and cons before finalizing next month.

Not ready, but went to that surrounding area with units available. It was quite loud at about 15 to 16 floor (currently highest at that area) around the corridor. But not sure would it be that bad if I'm inside instead.

yes, lower tier floor is good.

condo focus is security.... not taking longer time to be in lift.. and squeeze with strangers

How many lifts and how many units per floor?
Ideally 1lift serve 4 units max
Otherwise sure traffic jam
Remember the lift also need maintennace.
During maintenance ratio is out

Before deciding which floor level to live, decide which level you want your car park 🥹

You will regret this statement when you own a car later 😭

While waiting to own a car, good parking level are always in demand for rental purpose.

Don't just think for today. If tomorrow you want to sell the unit, it will have better demand and pricing.
