Drive shaft problem only applied to Alza and Veloz, as it design weakness the drive shaft easily get loosen, the car will shake when low speed

Alza and Veloz 4 cylinder, still high on ketum? Why wud T want to make cheapo engines for cheapo b40/80 cars when they already have a minor serf compeni doing that?

M15 engine does use 3cylinder, the same goes with high performance G16E-GTS engine.

also 2nr-ve used in veloz/alza is daihatsu engine. it will best paired with daihatsu gearbox. the possible reason why umw not using dcvt because they dont want to get perodua(which also have a share on the dcvt gearbox manufacturing plant and co-design) to get the most profit or because they have so much of those gearbox in their storehouse.
