Why USA has not copied CCP China to make a model of the fictional  Star Wars's X-Wing space-fighter and presenting it as a science fiction concept at the Florida International Airshow so that the US media can make anti-CCP China propaganda out of it.?
.
*
Because as dumb as American media are, they know the Chinese Media won't take the bait. In fact, China's media couldn't care less to critique on what the US media reports on, they only focus on China.

US will make an X-Wing, put in in their Air Show, sneakily put the "fake model only" in small letters at the bottom of the plane, hoping to catch and accuse Globaltimes/SCMP as anti-American when they write an article ridiculing the X-Wing. They can syiok sendiri and wait long long for Globaltimes/SCMP to even bother writing about them. They can wait forever.

You think China media so small gas ar? Always looking to ridicule America?? You can just goto their latest article on how SpaceX/Nasa again failed to rescue the American astronauts stuck in place....go ahead and read the whole article.....find 1 sentence where it makes fun of America's waning technological powress, of how stubborn they are not asking for Russia/China's help to save their own citizens, of how the last 2 SpaceX rockets have exploded like America's inflation...

America fails again as China pulls ahead in the Space race - is what I'd have title this article, but China is more respectful

= Global Times has sneakily deleted the quoted news report after propagandaizing/hyping the White Emperor/Baidi space-fighter as CCP China's 6th-gen fighter jet, but recently got debunked by some non-CCP military observers, ie sudah "pecah tembelang".. .......

https://www.eurasiantimes.com/chinas-6th-ge...eijing-unveils/ - China’s 6th-Gen Fighter Jet? Beijing Unveils “Supersonic Aircraft” Capable Of Dropping “Munitions From Space” - 12 Nov 2024
China has revealed a bold new vision for future air combat by unveiling a sleek, futuristic fighter jet that Beijing claims can break through the Earth’s atmosphere and operate in space. The jet has already become the highlight of the Zhuhai Airshow 2024, which kicked off on November 12.

Dubbed the “Baidi” or “White Emperor,” this cutting-edge aircraft model is showcased as part of China’s ambitious Project Nantianmen, a research initiative to explore future aerospace technologies. Social media users began sharing images of this next-generation fighter jet on November 11.

According to information provided at the airshow, the Baidi is envisioned as an “integrated space-air fighter,” capable of supersonic flight and breaking through the Earth’s atmosphere to operate in space, a feature that places it at the forefront of next-generation aviation.

The Aviation Industry Corporation of China, a state-owned aerospace and defense conglomerate, created the aircraft model.

The aircraft’s specifications remain largely under wraps, but its placard offers some insights into its features. The Baidi’s internal weapons bay has been expanded to accommodate heavy air-to-ground munitions, signaling its role in versatile combat scenarios.

It further added, “The Baidi Type B fighter has also received a comprehensive avionics upgrade, enhancing cockpit ergonomics and simplifying maintenance procedures, which effectively boosts its deployment capability and operational efficiency.”

The Baidi’s appearance at the Zhuhai Airshow, just a day after the 75th anniversary of the People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) on November 11, further highlights its importance in China’s long-term military modernization plans.

Its sleek, otherworldly design has drawn comparisons to the future of warfare, offering a glimpse into China’s aspirations for a more advanced, multi-domain air force.

One of the most striking aspects of the Baidi’s design is its cockpit. Hong Kong-based CMP reported that Global Times, a publication affiliated with the Chinese Communist Party, was granted access to the prototype before the airshow’s official opening.

The reporter described the cockpit as “extremely spacious” and noted the presence of a “futuristic” canopy.

Military observers remain cautious, noting that while the Baidi is an exciting concept, its true capabilities and future development are still uncertain.

Some speculate that the aircraft could be a prototype for future PLAAF models, though this has not been officially confirmed. Despite these uncertainties, Baidi’s introduction marks a step in China’s ongoing efforts to position itself as a global leader in aerospace technology and military innovation.

The Race For Sixth-Generation Aircraft

The competition to develop sixth-generation aircraft has reached a fever pitch, with several nations racing to establish dominance in this new era of aviation technology.

While China has showcased what appears to be a mockup of its sixth-generation aircraft, the United States is currently ahead in the race, particularly with its development of the B-21 Raider.

The B-21 Raider, which is considered the first operational sixth-generation aircraft, is a cutting-edge bomber that has been under development since 2011. The US awarded major development contracts for the project in 2015, but the details were kept under wraps for several years. ...

Since Global Times has deleted their news propaganda about the White Emperor/Baidi 6th-gen space-fighter because they got found out, the Washington Post and Popular Mechanics probably followed suit to delete their news reports but many other Western media have not deleted theirs.

Fyi, Google Translated from CCP Chinese, .......

12 Nov 2024 - Is the Nantianmen Project real? The "Baidi" air-space fighter was unveiled in Zhuhai! Does the sixth-generation aircraft really look like this?
....
Baidi and Nantianmen Project

In the past few days, Big Ivan has seen discussions about the "Baidi" aerospace fighter on many short video platforms. Some say that this is China's latest achievement after "going to the back of the moon", some say that this is our sixth-generation fighter, and some say that this is a strategic deception plan we proposed to see if the Americans will follow it. ...

https://www.sohu.com/a/687444899_121470950 - 20 June 2023 - CCTV officially announced the Nantianmen Project. What are Luanniao, Xuannv, and Baidi? All it needs is a key technology
.... In terms of specific parameters, the "Baidi" is 18.5 meters long, has a wingspan of 8.6 meters, and is equipped with the same dual vector engine as the J-20. However, in terms of appearance, the nose is more like a "duckbill" and has a double vertical tail that tilts outward. In terms of flight speed, when it rushes from the atmosphere into outer space, the speed can reach Mach 16 due to the reduced resistance in outer space. Many friends have doubts about the inability to use traditional turbofan engines in space, and they also have to face the problem of turning in space. When Harbin Aircraft Industry Group, a subsidiary of AVIC, was displayed at the air show, it was mentioned in the on-site introduction that the "Baidi" had completed multiple test flights such as test flights through the atmosphere and long-distance test flights in outer space. So how it was done is too advanced to be displayed. ...

https://www.voachinese.com/a/baidi-b-concep...25/7876327.html - Does the appearance of the “Baidi Type B” aerospace concept fighter show China’s ambition in space competition? - 26 Nov 2024
.... Luo Qingsheng, CEO of the Taiwan International Strategic Society, said in an interview with Voice of America that the essence of the "Nantianmen Project" is a cultural product of AVIC Global Cultural Communication Co., Ltd., a kind of science fiction marketing, and the "Baidi Type B" was produced by the "China Aviation Industry Cultural Center", which is a cultural sector directly under the "China Aviation Industry Corporation". China's J-35A and J-20 development companies, Shenyang Aircraft Industry Group and Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group, both belong to AVIC. Therefore, the "Baidi Type B" is not the same as boundless fantasy, but involves scientists, which may also hint at the future development and innovation direction of China's space technology. ...

Nope

Baidi is just a conceptual design to fascinate the audience

These are the real 6th gen fighter jets, J-36 and J-50

But these fighter jets are not enough to fight Klingons until the 7th gen fighter jet that uses the Mach 16 Oblique Detonation Engine is in commission

The 6th-gen J-36 and J-50 fighter jets can also be FAKE propaganda from CCP China, just like how CCP propaganda mouthpiece, Global Times and CCTV, had propagandized the FAKE Baidi/White Emperor 6th-gen space-fighter at the Zhuhai Airshow in Nov 2024 and earlier

I'm waiting for CCP-lovers to post the specs and 6th-gen fighter jet dogfight capabilities of the J-36 and J-50.

The Chengdu J-36 (Chinese: 歼-36; pinyin: jiānsānliù) is a speculative designation given by military analysts to a trijet tailless double-delta winged aircraft under development by the Chengdu Aircraft Corporation (CAC).

More likely is a false story will raise fund for their department. Like the haxin computer

https://www.scmp.com/article/548640/mainlan...ip-exposed-fake

China is capable to adapt, just with this short time frame and lack of any researchers, not possible.

Unlike deepseek, you can train new AI with using chatgbt, and purchase nvidia chips off records. EUV is not easy, even Intel the largest chips producer fail at it. They end up buy it from other company.

but in TS punya posts they mention china have successfully invented a totally new technology from the EUV that ASML is currently using, so that means if this new invention succeeds they dont have to rely on ASML's EUV machines if they want to use EUV technology to mass produce chips

of course now its still at a very early stage la, but definitely cannot underestimate china now, and ASML, intel etc need to buckle up and not slack in their own comfortable zone
