Why iHerb no longer ship to Malaysia? Is Madani govn ban it? If so, WHY!!!!!!?????????????????????????????????

iHerb is one of the most reliable, cheap, lot of choices online pharmacy! Many supplements also not available locally and if available, is a lot more expensive, I saw some offering same thing, like 3x the price! Crazy!

Yes, me too. I bought all my supplements from iHerb due to cheap and free shipping and most important of all, the products are genuine. If you buy from unknown company/individual from shopee/lazada, how you know they dont put fake thing inside or change part of it to?? Moreover, same item in shopee/lazada is like at least 2x or 3x as expensive!

i think some brands are on taobao officially as well, not sure if goods from taobao will kena delayed also or not, long time no buy

Just buy directly from the company and use a forwarder to ship to Malaysia. Sometimes could be cheaper than iherb cause iherb do jack up the price. Last time iherb was cheap.

They do not sell on iHerb and I was replacing their products with others on iHerb. So now just nice for them.

Yes. Forwarder have warehouse in the US. So you ship to the forwarder address, they ship to you in Malaysia. The courier usually settle all the tax and customs for you.

You might need to pay the courier the taxes for the courier to release the item to you.

So many to choose.

I think it's some regulations/changes at the custom/courier
had 2 orders during CNY period
first one was finally delivered after long delay (when the local courier thought they havent received it, but I just received it one day out of the blue)
second one was cancelled before it was picked up from their warehouse, and i got the refund shortly after

Either custom got stricter or their courier partner for malaysia fucked up. shall wait and see

Govn always said care for rakyat. Why govn dont allow rakyat to buy cheaper supplement (same brand, same item) from reputable oversea stores, instead force us to buy from local pharmacies which is 2-3x more expensive. Do note even including import tax and shipping, buying from iherb still 2-3x more cheaper.

Used to frequent Shopee/Lazada to buy certain supplement. Now they stopped selling those supplements due to jacked up commission rate from Laz/Shopee. Not sure what to do now because even iherb is temporarily suspended..

Yes they allow you to add to cart, and click check out button, but then you cant proceed to pay unless you select a different address not Malaysia.

Lucky you, but for my supplements none is available locally (online or physical store). One online malaysia selling like 5 or 6x the price, crazy.

I am looking for alternative such as using a forwarder, but the handling charge is not cheap, like RM55, not including tax and shipping fee. So unless I buy quite a few, it wont worth it.

Can consider renting a virtual office in SG or Thailand and go collect it yourself once a few months. But not sure how safe your items will be. Maybe when you go there, the items are gone or stolen.

Nowadays the quality of all services dropped a lot. And I think some virtual offices may not allow foreigners to open one. And all of them got limitations on parcel box size, which may make it difficult to ensure that iHerb ships in a small box that fits the box size limitation.

you could create a dropship address in US, where iHerb sent there, and you can consolidate your shipment and reroute to Malaysia.

Coupe of years back when we made a trip to hatyai for shopping, all 4 families that we went in, kena stop and asked to bayar tax for the baju we bought
The reason was one or 2 helai is okay, we had 5 in a car, obviously shopping banyak and also bought the same design for relatives as well.

This is their reply when I asked them when they will resume shipping to Malaysia. It seems there's an issue with our customs. Hopefully they resume shipping again as my supplement supply is running low and can only last me 2 more months. Keeping my fingers crossed!

One advice. I still buy stuff from local pharmacy despite I buy from iHerb. I would urge everyone to do the same.

If not, the local sellers will mengamuk no business, and get the gomen to block iHerb for good.

I dont think there is a huge community buying from iherb. Many do source from local pharmacy. Those who are internet shopping savvy buys online.

No IFOS certification. Very important. IFOS tell you if the oil you are taking us rancid, pass the purity test. If you are not tested, manufacturer can just claim anything.

Form my research last time yes. That' is correct. The only one I heard that have IFOS is pristine and that is Ethyl ester form. You want fish oil in triglyceride form (more stable and easier to absorb).

That is one example of why iherb is superior to our local pharmacy.
Cheaper and higher quality fish oil.

No. Nothing to do with that. Ethyl ester are cheaper to produce and able to increase concentration but goes bad faster and less absorbed.

All fish oil companies extract the fish oil in triglyceride form(original form) then change it to Ethyl ester. Majority leave it there as finish product but you want better absorption and longer shelf life need to change it back to triglyceride form. The extra step is costly. That's why not many companies want to do the extra step by converting it back to triglyceride form.
