Hi,

I am planning to nominate my siblings and or my mother for my epf. I don't have anything. I only have epf..

1. May i know how may pax can I nominate ? If I nominated 2 person which 1 will get 50%, does it mean they will receive half of my epf and the other person 50%

2. Is it safe to do online via app ?

3. Can I change my nominee in the future ?

4. If my nominess didn't want to take out the money because they want the compounding interest, it okay too ?

Thank you

1. you nominate how many pax u want and you can state the breakdown % of each nominee

2. Yes it is

3. Yes you can

4. Nominees have no control of your EPF until the event of your passing where your earlier stated % will go to them as the next of kin.

1. You can nominate how many nominees you can, in the end total should be 100% e.g. 3 person you want split into 30/30/40 or 25/25/50 or 10/10/80 or 1/1/98 all up to you as long as the total is 100% as stated in the form

For 2, i don't think you can nominate via app or online.... you may need to go to a EPF office to do so.

You can do the nomination online but you have to submit the form and give a thumbprint at a branch. The way it is explained is truly misleading.

It will only tell you that you need to be present at a branch to complete the process right at the end of the online nomination. You have 30 days to do it before it cancels itself.

this.

you can nominate online but after that, please go EPF to confirm your nomination.

they do so, so not any TDH can change nomination names by accessing your hp - will still need you to confirm.

No problem to do nomination online or via the app.

Make sure you have already verified your thumbprint & IC to activate your i-KWSP at KWSP office.

There was no form when I did mine mid last year. Just do it on the app and it will tell you to go to a branch to get thumbprinted at one of the self service machines within a number of days to get it confirmed.

Side track question.

1st. Is there a time bar for nominees to claim the money upon principal account holder death?

2nd. If 2 persons are being nominated. Both nominees must present at the same time to claim their respective share OR it can be done individually at a separate timing.

Is there a guideline on the above?
