I can understand if low or middle range go for Android, but for flagship for sure I would propose and suggest going for iphone.

Tap Trust "[developer name]" to continue. In iOS 18, iPadOS 18 and visionOS 2 and later, tap "Allow & Restart" to proceed with establishing trust. In earlier software versions, tap Trust to establish trust.
After your device restarts, follow the onscreen instructions to complete the process and trust the developer.
After you trust this developer, you can manually install other apps from the same developer and open them immediately.
After you’ve verified an app for the first time, your iPhone, iPad or Vision Pro must re-verify the app developer’s certificate periodically to maintain trust. If you can't reverify, you may see a message that verification will expire soon.

those saying ios cant install apk are obviously blinded fanbois

Agree, I buy Iphone because I confident to their PRIVACY, SECURITY & RELIABILITY, An Iphone worth it for the money at least for me using without any problem straight to 8 years. Iphone still far more cheaper than ONCE you losing your bank account over 7 digits of amount, I can't take the risk to using any Android devices if related to my banking and sensitive personal/ business data!. sad.gif

You don't fear mongering la. I've been using Android more than 10 years no issue with security.

Most of them that got hacked because they are noob. I'm not.

Granted ios dumbed it down so much that even noob cannot make mistake. They treat you like a toddler and wrap you with multiple layers of protection. It's like an over-protective parent.

not many ppl know that iOS actually provide lots of debugging toolset for ppl to do forensics

eg the App Privacy report, Apple iOS logs, even starting from iPhone 15 onwards they include detailed battery information such as manufactured date and cycles information

App privacy report for instance, has revealed apps such as WeChat had silently scan your photo gallery in the background, even when the phone is put on standby mode, and it has also revealed that WeChat silently turned on camera without user realizing

so without these kind of built-in iOS mechanism, apps could be stealing your info way more easier

TBH I've been using android for many years then I changed to iPhone just to try it out. The quality and iOS is really top notch. Really last forever until there's no support for the OS.

Can't be said any clearer why iOS is safer for MOST.
