When there is no civil and criminal liability when accident happen, no one will bother to follow the law.

Need to catch them first before any liabilities can be applied upon. The main issues now is detection/enforcement without any interference or ‘favours’, I think. Someone just mentioned he saw a man at ATM passing some cash to the authorities in this thread …

Obviously he was not in Malaysia until he became MOT.  These are well known maladies….and these are the symptoms of corruptions that they (PH) has been talking about in reformasi….. for him to come out with such ‘awareness statement’ says a lot about ……well, ANYWAY(quote Jeremy Clarkson famous quote). 😉

what the sohai are you talking about? the question is not if logistic industry is competitive. the question is if they can make extra profit by using tayar celup, you think they won't do it? if it is indeed a competitive industry, all the more they will do it to surive.

Can make it compulsory for new commercial vehicle to be equip with new safety technology.

Give tax incentive to encourage industry adoption.

Recently I saw a kek lapis from Vietnam being sold in a mall that was so cheap, but I dare not eat it. Who knows if the ingredients are genuine food or fake food.

If food industry in Malaysia cannot grapple with rising costs, next thing is they will import fake food from China. And they won't tell you about it. sweat.gif

I would say he did well in increased the feeder bus, RM100 unlimited ridership, increased maintenance of the station, divert some flight route to subang airport. Visa and other payment except for tng. Force tony to make lost by introduce cheaper flights for east malaysia during holidays.

Ktm breakdown and electrics plug shock he was fast to react.

Break monopoly of myeg such as which you can direct pay to the government instead of 3rd party. LRT also approved for penang, now wait for the tender process in Johor see whether its ART like sarawak. Completed gombak bus terminal which was overdue delayed, it was meant for be replace TBS for east coast region.

However for the cons, highway still jam as usual even for the toll road which you have to pay, qvehicle incident ever year also same, car thief still widepsread, VEP delay and complicated application, parking app wasnt that integrated with each app for mulitple council.

To sum up, he did improve alot the public transport system compared to previous transport minister , however alot of area still wasnt unsolved especially the high road incident and pot hole on federal road. The pros area he did was largely in Selangor and KL region, but with the time frame of just 2 years, it still a high achievement (or maybe the previous transport minister is just bad)
