I don't bother, since I'm the youngest. All my family will die off before me.

Totally wrong mindset and typical person will think of this.

Youngest =/ die at the last rclxub.gif

You thought kematian of a person has sequences?

old die first, followed by the youngest? You have yet to include all type of accidents and penyakit..

Will you write down all your information, such as assets, password and whatever information you Wanna let your family members know for the ease after you go "home"??

You just need to tell them to find that book and tbey got all the information that you have written.

Else, they will never know what you have and to handle and settle???

When my children were studying overseas, i wrote down an intensive instruction for them to follow in case both my wife and i were called home. This is to ensure that they had continuous financial help is we were suddenly gone.

From the easiest accessible cash to the most difficult and the lawyer to engage with.

depends on which type you are. i think M C I have different process. can't speak for the others but for C its usually just looking up some law firm that specialize in this aspect around your area then go in for consultation.

one of the bigger / popular one is called RockWills at old klang road (macam got multiple branch now) but at the end of the day, just shop around and schedule a session to talk to them and see if you feel ngam with them or not.

they will usually give you all the info and what is the process like if need to execute the will. if at any point you dont feel right or you dont understand certain things and they cannot explain in a way for you to understand then just find another firm to go with.

Ya rockwill seems like a reputable ones. My aunt (single woman) has written her will with them and let us keep a copy of her custody card in case anything happen.

No Trust fund. My assets are not so huge to require a trust. But i appointed my TRUSTED friend to be their guardian at that time.

Instructions:
a) reveal all known assets: from cash to properties
b) passwords for bank accounts. Instruction to withdraw. EPF. How to withdraw as there is a nomination instruction.
c) security boxes
d) others

But the most important objective at the time was to ensure quick accessible cashflow at the time.

I have already transferred all major assets. EPF nomination is done. The only things left are some pretty cash here and there.

For that I have left my passwords to my daughter. I am still in the process of setting up bill payments in her name using a joint account.

Hi kawa_e,

Nothing to worry about. Life is impermanent and we never know what would happen in the next second.

The best is to prepare everything and to pass down any messages before it happened. Then I will be peacefully go home which is the Pure Land of Namo Amitabha without any worry.

You talk like one of my friend.

I feel like I have ntg to prepare to them aside nominating who would take my EPF.
Even my insurance is on the brink of lapsing.

Anyway Jack. I wish you all the best. A good health for you and your furbabies.

Assuming I go before my mother, she can grab the info from safe deposit box which I update regularly, will also on standby.

If she goes first, means I'm alone. I have no next in line. Probably do what my granduncle did, assets go to local charity homes/animal welfare group.

I have plans set up if my Google account went offline for 3 months.

An auto email will trigger to a trusted friend, which then will help comb some of my stuff before releasing them to my family members.

Hacker able to access the info of the email when it's on "standby" or draft?
I'm afraid someone else read the info before the email actually triggered to send
