Will you write down all your information, such as assets, password and whatever information you Wanna let your family members know for the ease after you go "home"??

You just need to tell them to find that book and tbey got all the information that you have written.

Else, they will never know what you have and to handle and settle???

Password is not necessary unless you want your family member to have immediate access to the account. The account information can be mentioned in the list of assets for distribution.

But need password and key to open. So you can pass to two persona for protection just in case.

any law firm is enough, but ofcoz got some shady law firm will kepo but they cant do anything until after you go home anyway, big ones usually are safe enough and experienced enough but small firms also can geh just depends how much you want to pay them for the trouble only

also the password thing is kinda in a grey area, one hand, its sooooo much easier for family member to access without official help and can action things quicker, if you dont do the password book and they want access then they have to go official route which often involve a very long red tape where they have to show death cert to prove this and that and even then, sometimes service provider wont give access also. i think the same with bank as well, if no joint acc then money gone for some bank but others you will end up 6+ months just to get a bunch of doc and show them and even then they can just say nah dont wanna help

on the other hand, if you settle things correctly, they shouldnt need to access any of it unless they want to get some family item like family pics or some stuff from ur account / computer. so really depends. you dont know what they want to do with ur stuff after you go home so either you make it easier for them or you dont.

i saw some past threads people asked for help to get into so and so account coz they want pic or msg or something but some people comment said, if they didnt prep for you to have access means they dont want you to have access and to just leave it, then it became an issue coz the family member now just want to kepo and chao that person's stuff.

depends on which type you are. i think M C I have different process. can't speak for the others but for C its usually just looking up some law firm that specialize in this aspect around your area then go in for consultation.

one of the bigger / popular one is called RockWills at old klang road (macam got multiple branch now) but at the end of the day, just shop around and schedule a session to talk to them and see if you feel ngam with them or not.

they will usually give you all the info and what is the process like if need to execute the will. if at any point you dont feel right or you dont understand certain things and they cannot explain in a way for you to understand then just find another firm to go with.

You can write your own will if you are a non-muslim without the need for any 3rd party, except for the 2 witnesses. Read this and also this as your starting point

After that just keep it in a safe place. I think that is where the issue lies, not with the actual writing of the will. Someone must know that you do have a will written, for it to be implemented.
