Can be revert. Dont look down on kidney, it can withstand for some high pressure but will cause permanent damage if you just let it be.
It would not show immediately but maybe 10-20 year it will show.
My advice, eat less salty food, more vege that contain alot fiber, not vege pill vege juice (fiber more important).
Have moderated workout maybe 1 week at least walk for 3 hour, (30min per day not that much).

Reduce salt intake
Manage stress
Not more than 3 glasses of wine a week
Zone 2 and Zone 3 training 30 minutes a day 3-4 days a week
Sleep 6-8 hours a night
Walk instead of drive

I share here before, I got friend working in big 4, died after he suffered a stroke while hiking. Ambulance couldn't reach him in time as he was halfway in the hill jungle.

Stressful job, bad eating and drinking habits and lack of sleep killed him.

heya!
there's a similar thread here not long ago, High Blood Pressure at 31, who am i kidding.
There are some useful insights shared there, hopefully you can go through it when you got the time.

For me, the general public punya response to these sort of thing (stroke/high bp) is:
1. kurangkan garam/less salty <- yea, sounds right BUT you got time to cook your own meals 3times/day? eating out, the salt portion is almost entirely out of your hands
2. less caffeine/kopi <- for me, i have stopped 3-in-1/2-in-1s, i still take nescafe/kopi tarik
3. this one konfem 10/10 will say - EXERCISE/DIET/LOSE WEIGHT laugh.gif <- just sweat it out every day is good enough, no need hit the gym also can sweat one, go for runs (the air guaranteed fresher than aircon gym)/ go for badminton/pickleball sessions (or like me, kena covid bedridden 1 week, lose almost 10kg laugh.gif <- PLS DON'T)

You hav to see what cause the HBP. If due to old age ( blood vessel harden), there is nothing you can do but take med to control and reduce caffeine drinks.

If due to lifestyle... Then you have the answer already. Cut alcohol, take note of your diet in terms of salt, sugar and fats intake. Cut caffeine drinks even it's O. If got uric acid have to cut down red meat and substitute with white meat or find high protein vegetable or beans. Control abit on calories intake.

Besides diet, Can start with light exercise like walking instead jogging or cardio. Coz when you hav high blood pressure and do heavy/ fast pace exercise or cardio, that's when suddenly a person faint or worst sudden critical / death due to blood vessel burst or heart attack.

In the end, know your limit and observe moderation

and i am a 154kg dude who still cycles on average a 150km/week. 45 years old and thankfully with no illness. BP typically 118/62 with RHR of 68. apparently not in Malaysia but in countries like UK, the term that refers to people like me are MHO (metabolically healthy obese). All i could do is just keep being active to spiral down the other end of health scale!!!!

eat balance diet fresh food, sleep more and keep active once in a while, less stress as much as possible.

coffee less sugar and less condensed milk or no at all

u still have to keep working until 75-80 , who know one day God play a joke on u and live until 80-130age

just can say reduce oily food, drinks, soft drink, processed food

but still u have to eat ubat, lifestyle change not enough actually , also need go see doctor check up once 1 year

but human stress is unavoidable so manage your stress by sleeping , eliminate the root of the problem and settle quickly as soon as possible , dont stick with wrong people and focus your own thing only because at the end of the day u are the one who control your body after all and live your own life ( 过你自己的生活 )

from my aunt who still living relatively okay with minimal stress at her 60-70s

better find a way to slim down, 154kg can cause back and knee issues.

It puts a lot of strain on your knees.

As you age, your cartilage gets thinner.

Also it does no good for your BMI.

Bro.. don't leave this condition as-is until your kidney or heart KO.

Either you need to get dialysis permanently or heart failure that requires long term medication.
