hi all, im newbie here...

iv bn using izzi wireless broadband (izzi you) for 3 weeks now in damansara perdana. Im using a usb terminal device and signal strength is 100%. And im using the new imac on leopard and this is my problem..

I keep getting disconnected TOO BLOODY OFTEN NOW, like every half an hour, this message keep appears "could not find pppoe server", its so ridiculous, i dont think its the internet signal cz i tested on my fren's pc whos staying on the same block and it works fine without any disconnection. And it wont reconnect automatically even "connect automatically when needed" is checked. iv done everything i could think of like un-instal and instal (like more than 10 times..), change password, reset password, called the customer service every like an hour and those ppl know nuts about mac internet connections...and im sure i followed step by step as how instructed in the manual, and this is my setting by the way..











so PLEASE..PLEASE all the sifu here that can help me..im really close to throw the device in the longkang behind my house..

From what you're saying, it could just be your ISP that's causing the problem. As of now, they won't believe whatever you're saying because they're not proficient with Macs.

What you can do is simply get a PC and try whatever you're doing and see whether the same problem is happening.

What are you doing when it disconnects? Identify any pattern that can help to narrow down problem down.

i think ur right, its the isp thats causing the problem because as of right now, the connection is fine..its has been more than an hour, but its really mah fun lor cz it wont reconnect automatically..i have to unplug and plug the modem back to reconnect it or reboot the comp.

this morning the connection went on for solid 3 hours before it went kaput on me. i wonder if any other mac user whos subsribing to izzi facing the same problem...
