If ur car park under hot sun most of the time, use dashcam with super capacitor instead of battery. I would recommend DDPai..

happened to me

I have tried all from 70mai to DDPAI and from Asawin to Ekleva. The best is still 70mai with good software and easy to use.

DDPAI sucks! Software poorly engineered and only support certain models. Don't bother about Asawin or Ekleva, software also non-existent.

For my 3008, I used Yi-cam Mirror for front and Dashcam for rear. All self installed. The software doesn't work on Android 13+ and kept crashing. If Android 10-11 ok.

Right now, I'm using 70mai X200, 1S and D07 for my work car and A500s for my personal car.

All bought used from Carousell because dirt cheap. My entire 70mai dashcams all bought below 1.5k. Installation I did it myself after reading how to dismantle the panels.

To view inside phone? Connect through wifi or Bluetooth?

The one easily extract footage is which one?

To view on the phone and to share the videos la. U expect to take out the SD card every time to copy the videos out ka? Later lost how? Or worse, the car damaged and footage lost.

The X200 even better. Can stream videos from the car with the 4G hardwire kit.

is 70mai ok for park outdoor all day 365 days?
some of my friend their car park outside under hot sun with 70mai
but i scare it will explode even though just 500mah lar.

Ayam been using 70mai A800s for past half year, so far so good parking daily under hot sun.

have both the 70mai a800s and ddpai z50. very comparable.

I dont think it will explode, just that it will shortened the battery life quicker.

I am looking for 3rd party dashcam front and rear, and also the head unit for navigation. Any recommendation so far? Park under hot sun for long duration sometime.

For head unit, I'm using the elcheapo Eonon X20 for Android Auto and reverse camera.

For parking surveillance, I'm using the 70mai Omni X200 with 4G hardwire kit.

Just bought 70mai m310 today for my beater car. Recently launch. Will update how it compare to my other car with a500s

No rear cam but it can rotate automatically upon detection with the hardwire kit. For rear, I repurposed the old 1S instead in case the X200 unable to capture on time.

DDPAI (capacitor) over 70Mai, but both good.

Been using Viofo for past 3 years. No problems. It's using capacitor rather than battery.

As emergency power if the power its cut off, during an accident for example. The battery/capacitor can supply enough power for few seconds/minutes to properly save the recording, especially the last few moment during/after the accident happened.

Yes. I plan to hardwire the 1S too. By doing so, both X200 and 1S will monitor the car. X200 can capture whatever on the front, sides and interior while the 1S will capture whatever behind. Probably need to add a secondary battery to offset the power consumption of both cams.

What if it is not hot wired? And hot wired can also lost power in case of bad accident.

avoid DDPAI x5 Pro. Very good recording quality and bought it because of the ADAS notification, but that function is malfunctioning after a few software update.
