My 6D mkII collecting dust for many years already, i misss the bulky feeling using DSLR, nowadays using phone is much much more convenient. Unless if you're doing long exposure, then yes DSLR still has its place. motherland and JimbeamofNRT liked this post

Unless if you're doing long exposure, then yes DSLR still has its place. The best camera is the one you have with you.But as most people just take.pictures for.insta or FB, camera phones work just fine. However for proper serious work, there is no replacement for a proper camera. By 7D also collecting dust for many years. Now my daughter using it to learn photography. My fuji xt2 already in drybox for many many years
Phone cameras are good enough social media now and can edit and upload without pc..digital camera is still needed for proper macro, bokeh and long exposure But even with super nice photo taken with pro cameras also no one will see..meanwhile show boobs with lousy photography will get all the attention..what a sad reality This post has been edited by smokey: Oct 30 2024, 05:48 PM |

I want to buy SLR but too much money to spend when eagerness for photography is waning. When you wait for the price to go down then new model coming up and I just keep drooling.
Still got my film camera in dry cabinet |
