Some images in the link below, the charging cable is braided, very nice touch. Also now I understand why people buying multiple of this device, it's so small.

If only someone makes a power bank that is small with 3-pin AC outlet, totally can become my new laptop.

Only issue I had was on first time start up, the resolution was wrong and I couldn't see what button I'm pressing enter to.

Does anyone know if resolution can be change on first time start up/set up screen?

Once I log in and finish the set up, only then I can change the resolution to proper one.

Anyone using Mac mini with sub 4k monitor? For example WUXGA resolution or 2k monitor How's your experience? I've tried on these types of monitor and so far not satisfied with font sharpness. Also tried better display app. Seems not so much different. My windows laptop with these displays have better sharpness.

I think ppl have said 1440p monitors are the worst for macOS. Maybe need to upgrade 4k monitors.
*
i'm using 1080p monitor, its not really good, text is blurry, but i can live with it.

In all honesty who knew there was holiday yesterday. Plus we all thought impossible to out of delivery so fast.

I suspect they already had the stock in warehouse nearby, the tracking was merely for show.

I think saw this in taobao. This one is more expensive than the one shared earlier here. Around RMB1099. Need to pre order it.

I'm looking for cooling case.

So far saw someone use aluminium heatsink on Reddit, the temps went down a bit (doesn't justify the modifications).

Now waiting someone try it with fans like below:

For mac mini or the ssd enclosure? I thought mac mini won't have overheating problem?
My m2 ssd stays around 40-45 idle and around 50-55 when in operation, that's without the fan on. If turn fan on can reduce 5 degree overall.

For Mac mini, it's not really needed, it's more like extra and hobby and to get more juice and performance from your Mac mini

it's much more expensive than some good PC casing already. I don't think it's worth it. Around 500 better buy more storage or other useful add ons.
*
The Mac mini by itself already perfect, like I see you all want to use ssd as home folder or buy casing, for me it will make the Mac mini less useful.

Now I can hook it up to monitor, or quickly move it around and hook it up with TV - that's the beauty of this machine, it's like a "compute stick" or Chromecast where you can just plug and play.

Guys today is 12.12, can recommend any other accessories?

I got myself this 5GbE adapter, it's not 10GbE but okay la for RM60++

I'm looking for any suggestions that go well with Mac Mini M4.

Note: in my experience these adapter's when overheat will shut down, so maybe buying internal 10Gigabit ethernet still better and paying the Apple premium.

finally postman is here to pick up my m1. Unit will send to Bukit Jelutong. Now wait for confirmation to complete the trade in.

Asked the postman. according to them no drop off.

So what they did is
1. Put into white envelope which little protection. Lucky I wrap with extra bubble wrap
2. then put into big brown box
3. seal it with pos sticker.
4. Wrap with final plastic & put address sticker. get one confirmation letter.
Step 1-4 : Postman will take picture entire process to prove that unit are safely send

Hi, I'm new to this, what is it meant here when you say no drop off?

I thought connect to monitor need to find HDMI to USB c. not USB c to USB c. unless your monitor is plug via USB c
*
3 usb-c at the back can connect monitor.

Three Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C) ports with support for:

Thunderbolt 4 (up to 40 Gbps)
USB 4 (up to 40 Gbps)
DisplayPort

I try TG PRO. Not bad also can see more details of other components.

Just get a 6 inch or 8 inch mini fan and blow it on the SSD, don't have to worry about temperature anymore after that.

Second that. While the enclosure fan only takes about 2-3C off the SSD temp, those fan can reduces up to 8-10C easily on my case.
*
My old ideapad 3 which I got cheap and why they sell it cheap because using low quality materials had very bad cooling, after few hours using the laptop will BSOD, got a fan last time for it and never had BSOD after that. I suspected the RAM got too hot and cause a BSOD.

Also can help for the ethernet dongles, they also heat up after a while using under heavy load. Cooling is super important when comes to PC components.
