hahaaa... I just came across this long and meaningful thread

a great advice. but somehow, all is decided upon yourself.
A grab of her hand is quite a brave move to get a quick answer..
its depends on the girl's personality.. some will like that act.. some wouldn't.

if you are into a relationship, be ready to lose a friend or to gain someone special.

its either this or that and if you are lucky enough, you will still get her as a friend of yours although you failed to get her to be your special ones. Unlucky means, she will avoid you.

So choose wisely, my friend.
Be wise, be brave.
