FX36 is a good buy or not if compare to FX100 12.2mp. dunno what function they disable it in fx100 to make it cost cheaper than fx36 10.1mp

A good camera with all the features u want; wide angle 30mm, 10mp, Ai mode for great pics anytime, 2.5' lcd and affordable price tag. More features than the basic LS but cheaper than those FX series.

If u have little more budget and don't mind a bit bigger cam then go for the TZ series.
I'm using it and it just superb!

FX100 is cheaper because it's an older model compared to FX36. Differences;
FX100 using Venus III Engine / FX36 using Venus IV
28mm wide / 25mm wide
no HD quality motion clip / HD motion clip and output

I going to travel to India soon, i just wonder, is one battery enough for me to take whole day photo? Cause i not going back to hotel until night.
I am using lumix tz.... and can someone tell me how much a battery cost in lowyat?

FX520 got manual modes...hmm

personally, ill go with the camera with manual modes. can tweak around the shutter and aperture =]

i'd agree with that cause my lumix although it's 10x zoom, i can't have full control over the settings so sometimes quite boh song.. hahahah...
