I am considering to get it in HK mid Nov if the MY launch it too late. But I notice in some HK youtube about the Mini 7, seems like Apple Intelligent is disabled in HK Ipad. Not sure is at hardware level or just location. Anyone got any idea how those geo-restriction is working?

yes, did a google search and seems like it is hardware locked, have to wait for MY launch then. Hopefully can get it before my HK trip mid Nov.

Btw, how long normally Switch will have the stock at the outlet after Apple launch it online?

put my office as delivery address will be delivered on 19/11. Change delivery address to my home become 14/11. biggrin.gif

too bad place order past 3pm, delivery become 15/11. sweat.gif

I think the units already in Malaysia since now they have Malaysia Apple Store, most likely item shipped from KL warehouse.

All this while the Apple product I bought all shipped from overseas.

My order when place around 3:30pm this afternoon is ETA 15/11. Just received sms with tracking number in the evening, items arriving 13/11. Just in time before my overseas trip next week. rclxm9.gif

Courier is GDEx shipping from Singapore, both Ipad Mini and Pencil Pro.

I am actually sending it to Skudai, also JB area. I think previously my Apple product all shipped thru Fedex though. Never sent by DHL before. Only office Lenovo laptops shipped via DHL all the time.

i thought the cheapest and easiest way is to just get a sub-line for it? I have been using my U Mobile sub-line for my tablet all the while.

For me, Ipad can't replace my paper notebook. It is more of a mini computer for me to consume media and check on office email etc while on the go.

For U Mobile, just scan the QR code from the U Mobile app after you register the esim. I use physical sim in my old Ipad and I can switch to esim using the U Mobile app and activate it on my new Ipad Mini without the need to visit the U Mobile service centre.

why not? I keep the original usb cable and charger in the box ever since i got it. Try get some better quality cable. I am using Ugreen cable to charge the Ipad Mini without any issue.

I am using U Mobile U Family 128 plan for 3 mobile phones and 1 Ipad Mini. RM128 for 4 lines with 1,000GB data and all 4 lines got global roaming 15GB in 63 countries. Can't find any better than this.

I have no issue activate the e-sim in my Ipad Mini. I think I did the activation by via the U Mobile app, just DIY, no need to receive sms for activation.
