Sorry for my ignorance, but what is the "private lift" in a condo? Does it means every unit has own private lift?

No. Every unit has its own private lobby, not lift car.

Private lobby Saja. If every floor got 4 units, there are 4 or 8 lifts. U don't see your neighbour. Lift opens on that floor, it's your unit Saja.

Why trick? Come KD ayam show a real unit. They can just leave those expensive shoes and golf sets outside their lobby cause it's private lift entrance.

basically, the lift just opened at your floor, there are no other units to your floor. Let's say your unit faces the west.

Like someone said above, there's a mini corridor between the lift and your unit door. You can put all your stuff at the mini corridor. No one else can access to your corridor.

Another unit at the same floor access to a different lift. Let's say another unit faces the east. So this lift faces the east, whereas your private lift faces the west.

But your 'private lift' will also go to a different floor for other units, facing the same west side.

the lift door opens direct to your home/lobby. you wont see your neighbour from same floor, but there is possbility to share the same life with neighbour from other floors.

high end condo units normally one floor got 2 units? depends on layout
lift opens in your condo unit, normally just outside your front door. this space is yours only. can take off shoes here and got another door which opens into your wet kitchen or laundry area or storage area, depends on layout.

yes, but typically need access card to access your floor la. so you neighbour wont be able to access your unit without your presence.

if u use ur access card or lift button outside ur unit to call the lift, it will oni open there

I mean you both already in the same lift. You going to your floor, he going to his floor. But the lift reach your floor first and open door, he can just hantam and masuk your house if he want.
