EV cars will be obsolete due to firmware updates like softwares. The other aspect is batteries efficiency.
I believe my another 4-5 years, EV cars in Malaysia will outsold ICE. Even now, the kamping folks are all excited about EV but beyond their budget. Once Proton & Perodua comes out with their EV at affordable pricing, the uptake of EV will increase sharply. Let’s see next year….

zeekr 009 going to enter msia market, just assume the battery pack is 100kwh, because it is more than 100kwh.

a 10% to 80% charge on 800V platform take 11 and a half minute, that is 70kw charged.. and with 20kw per 100km to calculate the efficiency which is normal for mpv this size, 11 and half minute can give u another 350km mileage.

the last 20% take longer time, so for ev seldom ppp charge until full only leave.

but the problem with zeekr 009 is that 2nd gen is cheaper than 1st gen with more stuff added. first gen feel kena tikam at the back. aaron kwok bought it already in hk ma, he said nicer than alphard. kek

Gomen sponsor build factory, sponsor battery company, waive their car plate tax, tens of thousand rebates, incentive on every ev build, toll free for ev. You can imagine how much gomen spend to build up the industry. When all these are gone, then only have a level playing field with ICE car.

omoda obviously have a overlapping category with tiggo 7 pro, ppl would rather top up abit get 1.6t and a bigger cabin tiggo 7 pro than omoda.

they are screwing up their own car category.

then jaecoo meant to be a more atas category but u just need to topup a 20k from tiggo 7 pro and u will get it. not like other brand that make u topup 100k for a more atas category.

but then tiggo 8 pro already having discount up till 8k which means tiggo 8 pro can get it with around 150k.
