I don't know about the "looks expensive" part la, but everything else pretty much fit what my wife was looking for in a stroller as well. For her, facing the baby was important and also light with one handed open/close

So we got a stroller from combi. Was probably the previous model of this: https://shopee.com.my/Combi-Baby-Sugocal-%C...3a-0921fa980753

Have it for 6 years already, used by all 3 kids. Even now when go out, its used as a portable storage and also to wheel whichever kid is tired from walking.

My recommendation is just go try a few yourself, see how it feels for you when pushing, turning, etc. Everyone got different requirements and feel for what is safe/durable.

This is excellent advice. I spent a lot on my son’s stroller and I used it maybe around 11 months max. Once he started walking he didn’t want to sit in the stroller anymore

Take him out longer la, then when nap time/tired put him in, don't need to carry around laugh.gif

Resist the urge to get a big one. You'll be using the smaller  foldable stroller far more often (airport, shopping mall etc). The big ones may look nice but you're going to have fun squeezing in lifts.

speaking based on experience, you wont have chance to squeeze into lifts, carry the baby and use escalator is faster than to expect civic minded people

So the usual sop is take out baby, fold stroller then carry both onto escalators? 8kg consider heavy or not to do this?

What is 2 way facing?

Look expensive? I don't see the necessity of that one.

Baby stroller is more customized. Remember, if you buy one very expensive one, once your baby become bigger toddler, you have no use for this one, but to keep it in storage until your next baby comes.

Some baby strollers esp the ones that you can detach the baby carrier from the wheel carriage, are very large. Takes up space in your store room.

i got 3 stroller now.

1st - a big stroller, new born can lay down flat and sleep. use this a few times going to hospital. use at home too to monitor baby sleeping. this is a gift from friend, so cost me RM0. this stroller is so big, that it barely fit my rear trunk and no other bag/item can be put there alongside it.

2nd - a small stroller, sit position only, that can easily be folded and store in car rear legroom. use this stroller inside mall, theme park, when baby does not sleep.

3rd - my wife bought a mid size stroller, the only that got storage below and cover above. foldable into medium size, hard to put into car legroom. usually put in rear trunk. this stroller baby can sleep and sit.

nowadays, only bring the 3rd stroller whenever we go out.

that kind of stroller won't last long.

once your kid outgrows the stroller you have to change.

then this one you have to keep in storage until the next baby.
