Have to scoop the sand bath and pour onto them.. haih..

If i din do like this, they wont sand bath and will smelly n wet for a long time.

lolx kelv...i usually put them in the tank n pointing at them...'roll...fast2' hahaha...but usually how long 2 put them into the bath eh..usually...i w aited till i finish cleaning thier tank then only i put them back....

same here. i make a big cardbox playpen to let them play in while i clean the tank. normally i leave them to explore for 1-2 hours in there with my own made tunnels and sort of LOL!

they seem to enjoy. but cleaning the box is the problem. pee and poo everywhere

haha my boys love to roll on the sand, but oso poo n pee there...

aih my boys still cannot live together la, so decided to give up putting them in same tank...my mom scold me d coz consume too much space...

:sigh: yeah lor...and my parent seems not to supportinve on this...but i really love my pets!! wait till i got my own home then i put tanks n tanks of gerbil, hammy, gp, even horse if can huhuhu

that thought always makes me wonder about another thing, how the hell you stuff all ur pets in ur room kelvin? ferret summore? waaah so jealous lor!!

Most parents are like this. My mum has warned me for taking in pets. Probably they think that once you're not free, they have to take care of it.

Haha Hanin, not adopt la, its buy wan. Haha. But i reduce mongolian gerbils to 6 only now, so i have some space for the newly arrived ferrets.

They like to kacau my suggie. Suggie will crab at them when the ferrets r near.

Ma mom once was like yours...Take me few months to convince her...But now every time friends or family come to our house, shes the one that usually bcome tour guide bring them 2 ma room show all ma pets..

same larr..they say i keep 'tikus' in my room, later breathe the same air with them, later will catch disease
i kept on telling that they are very clean animals, they still say they're 'tikus',
mom said, 'itu ekor panjang, sure tikus la'..

i'd have to be living on my own to be keeping a ferret or suggie lar..

LOL. same life as me! hah. so how is your gerbil adi? mine one very fat. one very very kurus. everytime dowan eat.

my girls all have diff preference of food ..but all of them loves the organic staple powder i got from uncle taro's kitchen
sometimes i see them plump2, sometimes like normal only..
hahahah hard to tell la..

eh why one donwan to eat? picky eater ah?

i don't know. one eat everything that i offer her. another one, give toast bread, dowan. give carrot, dowan. give whatever in prestige hamster, dowan.

i offered every single thing she aso dowan. but she will not run away like the fat wan. the fat wan seems afraid everytime. anyone go near the tank she run away.

how to sand bath gerbils ah?
take them out in a box of sand or what...

my dad and mom also say my gerbil is tikus...
When i say the tikus is from mongolian, they diam liao

Mongolian la, haha.

To sand bath, mine, i have to take them out to a 1feet tank with sand bath.

Then they will get special treatment from me = i scoop sand and pour over them. As they never rolled in the sand themselves. M A N J A liitle buddies!!

I also give ma gerbil uncle taro's and really worr they all begin 2 become plump...Hanin, i demand for ur gerbil plump plump pic hahaha...never had prob regarding eating b4, but maybe ur's really picky eater kot....

u really manja ur gerbil r kelvin...After this bcome spoil hahaha...ask 4 hand feed everyday..
Anyway, i do the same as kelvin also...its easier since i never saw them sand bath by themselves...unlike fat tail gerbil, once u give them sand, they know what to do...
